Will someone tell me who Anita is/was? Is she like Rani's character from K3G? Or is she/was she his secretary or something?
Anita was Aham's ex girlfriend before marriage, he says he loved her in a confrontation with Gopi later on when they were married.
Anita had a sibling Umang, Anita was dating Aham, Umang was dating Kinjal, when Aham was told by Kokila that she found a girl for him to marry, he never refused the mother's choice he went to speak to Anita to end their relationship, Anita refused to end the relationship and tried to kill herself and Aham by driving off a cliff, Aham saved them both, Anita then came to Aham and Gopi's engagement (and Aham was in fact preoccupied with her the whole time and wasn't involved in the activities happening with Gopi, putting her the ring etc) Anita forced Aham to choose between his mother and him, Aham went to Kokila and told her his decision and that he was in love with Anita, Kokila refused to accept, but heart brokenly did, Aham seeing this went outside where Anita was waiting and told her to get lost that he had chosen his mother over her, she cried etc and left.
Umang meanwhile didn't take the situation lightly and broke up with Kinjal, but Kinjal chasing him as she was still in love and didn't understand why he would discard her so easily, Umang then had conditions to break off Aham and Gopi's marriage at any cost to right the wrong done to his sister Anita, a lot happened it took like 10 months of the serial, in then end Kinjal's reputation was ruined with the fake pregnancy that Umang initiated, and when Kokila, Aham, Jigar went to find Umang he admitted he was doing it because Anita had been wronged by Aham and his family, so now they know how it feels with Kinjal also been wronged by him, that was the end of us seeing Umang.
Aham had a flashback of Anita on his birthday singing him happy birthday at 12am by phone, otherwise we have neither seen head or tail of Anita nor Umang since then.
