The actress will tie the knot with the CM's eldest son early next year

For whom the bells toll: Aditi Ghorpade

Yesterday, there were reports of Vilasrao Deshmukh's eldest son Amit's engagement to Aditi Ghorpade, daughter of Bangalore-based Prataprao Ghorpade.

However, not many know that the girl Aditi Ghorpade is none other than Aditi Pratap who appears on Zee's Saath Phere.

On the show for over two years, Aditi was earlier seen in Risshton Ki Dor (Sony) and has done a cameo in Twinkle Beauty Parlour (SAB).

When contacted Aditi, admitted that she is seeing the Chief Minister's son, "I am very happy. Not many people know me as Aditi Ghorpade, but it's good. It lets me be private," she smiles. When probed about her first meeting with Amit, she hesitantly reveals, "We met a few months back, through our families. We will get married early next year.

He's a great guy and has a loving and supportive family." The actress reveals that she plans to continue to don make-up even after tying the knot? "I have a great production house that supports my every decision.

Also Saath Phere is doing well, and people have taken to my character. I don't see any reason why I should leave it all. Yes, after marriage, one naturally gets more responsibilities. But I am sure I'll manage just fine."

Saas loves it

Even though Amit isn't much of a daily soap watcher, Aditi reveals that her future ma-in-law regularly watches it. "He tried to catch a few episodes after he got to know me. But my mother-in-law watches the show and likes it."

Refuting reports that she may move to Bangalore she says, "I will very much be in Mumbai. His family is here, so why should I shift elsewhere?" Aditi and Amit are set for an engagement some time next month.
