Sadiya Siddiqui has been thrown out of her house, by her mother. The actress had bought a new house about a year ago but was unwilling to shift there, leaving her family, especially her mother. Besides, the actress hated the idea of staying alone.

Finally, it was her mother who packed her bags and shifted her things to her new flat when Sadiya was away shooting, thus forcing her to move.

Sadiya says, "I was terribly upset. I cried and pleaded, but my brother kept teasing me. So, I took it as a challenge and decided to move out and live on my own. Within an hour of moving into my new place, I was back to my mother's place again. I used to go to my house only in the night. The rest of the day, if I wasn't shooting, I would be at my mother's place."

Initially, she was so scared of staying alone that she started imagining her house was haunted one. She recalls, "I was really scared. Even a teddy bear, which was a gift from a friend used to scare me. It was a horrible experience. But the best part is that now I am quite used living alone and I have really grown fond of my house. I feel at home at my new place."
