The building, Evershine Grandeur, is located at the Link Road, Malad-(w), close to In Orbit mall. A ten-storeyed apartment, the Kelkars will soon move into the 8th floor flat, the deal of which was signed recently.
Speaking to Indya.com, Sharad says, "This flat the kind of amenities I wanted. It is a three bedroom flat, with one bedroom for me and Keerti, another for my mum and third will be for my kids... When they come. Keerti and I have discussed about interiors. We have given the contract to Vivek Pople and Upasana. I have told them my requirements and I know they will do it very well."
The interior dcor work will finish within a month, which is when they will move in.
About the money, Sharad says, "I can't reveal the amount but it is not very high."
The "not-very-high-amount" is over Rs 1 crore says B.M Yadav, a flourishing estate agent of this area, adding, "Super built up area of this flat is 1550 sq ft and it has two toilets. The rate of this area is 7000/sq ft. Cost of this flat is more than 1crore.This is very posh area."
It's a favourite place of TV stars. Manav and Shweta Gohil stay in the same building as the Kelkars on the fifth floor. Other celebrities who stay in the same area are Karan Wahi, Kiran Karmarkar and Aloknath.
