Saloni-A dark complexioned 24 year old It did not matter that she was actually beautiful, hugely talented with a scope to make a name for herself.Saloni is in love with Nel but agre to marry guy of her parents choice.Saloni get engaged but her engagement is broken.Nahar Singh a good looking rich rajput chooses Saloni over Shubhra when he had actually came to see Shubhra.Saloni gets married to Nahar only to realise that there is life beyond marriage.But destiny had his own plans.Saloni finds out that Nahar was married to Chandni who was killed by Nahar.Later its revealed that it was Kuki Kaki who killed Chandni.Nahar & Saloni reunite once again.Due to some misunderstanding created by Neel intentionaly they both get sepearted gain but reunite once again.

Brijesh Pratap Singh-Nahar's elder brother who has a loving & caring wife named Tara.He marries Tara's sister Urvashi on Tara's insistence against his wishes.

Tara-Nahar's elder brother Brijesh's wife who can never concieve due to an accident which happened with her.She was brainwashed by her sister Urvashi against Saloni but later she realises true colours of Urvashi.Nahar is very close to her bhabhi.

Reva:She like Brijesh & Nahar's sister whom both adore alot.She fals in love with Neel only to realise that he is in love with Saloni.Later on, when the family is thinking about Neel & Reva's marriage Neel gets married to Shubhra in orfder to save Saloni's family's pride which creates problems in relationship between both the families.Reva leaves the city.After leaving home, Saloni goes to stay at Reva's house in Mumbai.
