There's no one to keep Saloni company in Saat Phere. The rest of the cast has been absconding for a week
The cast of Saat Phere has gone missing for a week now. Barring Rajshri Thakur aka Saloni in the serial, all the
prominent actors in the show are enjoying their New Year leave. It's been almost a week since the party is over but the actors have refused to get back to work. Ashlesha Sawant, Akshay Anand, Sharad Kelkar and Anchal Dwivedi haven't reported to the sets for over a week now. This has obviously irked the schedulers and the unit members of the show. "How dare they not come back? This is unprofessional and unethical too. Saat Phere is a daily show and we are losing lot of money because of their absence," snaps a unit member. Rajshri Thakur
Akshay Anand aka Brijesh in the serial is still in holiday mood. The actor is in Lonavala now. Anchal Dwivedi cannot be contacted and Ashlesha is having a good time in Delhi.
The supervising producer of Saat Phere, Abdul Karim says, "I had to re-write a lot of scenes and I had to complete most of the scenes with body doubles. This kind of attitude is not expected from such seasoned actors. Now, I regret having given them leave at all." Karim further adds, "The only actor who co-operated with me was Akshay Anand. He is the only one who answers every phone call. One day, he drove down from Lonavala to Mumbai and shot for two hours. As for the rest of the cast, I shall deal with them, once they return to work."

Actor Sharad Kelkar gets defensive when asked about his absence. He said, "I had informed the unit members about my 10-day leave. So why are they complaining now?"
The other actors Ashlesha, Anchal and Akshay were unavailable for comment. Karim adds, "For the past five days, Rajshri has been shouldering the responsibility of running the show alone. I had to uplink the last four episodes and this chaos is causing a lot of damage to the show."
