No, the song was sung by Saloni. Neel is the guy who requested the song. I too wonder why does he want Nahar-Saloni separated probably he blames Saloni for Shubra fiasco.

i personally dont feel bad about Neel getting against Saloni for reasons obvious---
--She and Neel were childhood friends, she should have atleast tried to understand Neel's feelings for her.
-- When she knew about Neel's love for her, she could have excused herself from Nahar and go to him as they were not even engaged.
In other words, Saloni just ditched Neel, because she knew Neel did not have any money
--She stopped Neel and Rewa from getting married, because she wanted to make him an husband for her stupid sis Shubra , who was very much pregnant with Karan's child. I am just imagining what would have been his mind state.
--Neel had to listen to all the tantrums and harsh words from Stupid Shubra for Saloni's sake
--Shubra humiliated him at the child's naming ceremony by not heeding to his advice to name their child with the name he suggested and by announcing that she would be leaving him forever for Karan.
Tell me which guy in this world with a sane mind would take all this ...?

Very convincing reasons👏. Agree with your points and thats why Neel is back as rich and powerful. But I think somewhere he will surprise and change. He will def make Saloni realise her mistake but wld nto harm her. Just my guess.
