On passing one of the older workers of the hotel, he mentioned that the garden + pool on the top decking was absolutely stunning, made specially for young couples and only VIP guests like themselves had access to it. Both nodded uncomfortably at the man and proceeded, but curiosity got the better of them and they decided to go check it out. Due to the awful weather, the elevators got jammed and so they had to use the staircase….looking up at the never ending stairwells, they braced themselves for an extremely silent and awkward 20 minutes ahead.
On the last leg of the staircase, without warning, Saloni slipped on the edge of the step, unbalancing and tipping backwards into the arms of an unsuspecting Nahar. Caught in another fix, neither could react instantly. Unable to help himself, he looked over he revealed body in his arms. The spontaneity of the fall has caused her pallu to fly up and get tangled around Nahar's arms, revealing her flat stomach and rapidly rising and falling chest, much to his pleasure and her displeasure. Slowly, his free hand was magically making it's way up to cradle the side of her face, pulling her upwards just enough for him to lower his head comfortably to plant a kiss on her seductive lips.
Caught in the spell of the moment, she found her eyelids closing, her face heating up, her pulse and heart beat galloping and shivers running up and down her spine.
"BAM!" the door to the right of the stairs flew open, a peon rushing out hastily. As fast as the door had opened, they had sprung apart, as if brandished by a hot rod. Clenching his fists and stuffing it in his pants pockets, he looked up at the peon, who stood flushed before the swinging door. Saloni hastily twitched her pallu back into proper place, rubbing her palms against the cloth.
*clears throat* "Saab? Aap Mr Nahar Singh hain kyaa?" asked the peon. Nahar nodded slowly at the man, trying very hard not to express the thoughts of strangling the disturber.
*nervously* "Uh ji, aapki driver ne bulaya. Usne kaha tha ki aapki gaadi tayyar hai. The rain eased a little and he said it's best to leave now, otherwise lord alone knows how long you will be stuck here. He is waiting downstairs. Aur haan! Room service has already taken care of your clothes and packaged it, however there may be you other personal items in the room. Do hurry," and with that the little man fled from the awkward scene. Grumbling a little, they made their way back down the numerous flights of stairs, Saloni being extra careful and extra quiet, while Nahar cast sidelong glances at her confused face as the flashbacks of what had almost occurred played in his head.
Since neither had anything extra on them, they knew there was nothing left in the room, so they headed directly down and out to the front. Nahar lodged out of the hotel, receiving warm greetings from the lady behind the desk, returning her warmth with gracious looks of approval as well, but only too see if Saloni was paying any attention, and what would her reaction be.
"Ego of a peacock" He swore he heard her mutter that while flicking her hair. Spinning slightly, giving a big fake smile to the girl as she turned to greet her, she stomped out of the lobby and into the waiting vehicle, not giving the driver a chance to open the door for her. This made both men chuckle silently to themselves, as Nahar joined his fuming princess and allowed themselves to be driven off towards their respective homes.
