Narpat living room
Narpat sees the newspaper and inquires who changed his daily newspaper to a business daily. Kaveri comes and tells him she did it and It's for Samar who is a businessman & needs to keep track of market trends. Kaveri says as such Papaji's newspaper contained only destruction, deaths, robbery and murder. Ambika too asks why she stopped the newspaper & shd have asked her Sasur before stopping & it was his time pass. Kaveri replies that this is no reason & why does Papaji waste time in newspaper and instead shd pass his time by doing work at home for e.g. Dhananjay is not there so bring vegetables or water plants in the garden. Samar too comes there. Narpat tells Samar that let both newspapers come but Kaveri comments that it's not possible since she is overseeing the expenditure and this is wasteful expense. Narpat hurt asks whether now even his small needs will be curbed. Kaveri gets tearful and replies that when have I restricted your needs and whatever good I might attempt to do you people will always consider me bad. Samar now says that he understands that they always nursed complains against Kaveri, proving her decisions as wrong is your duty. You want to denigrate her and you also hate my decisions and I am fed with all this. You can get your newspaper tomorrow and he slams the newspaper down. Ambika and Narpat are tearful and hurt.
Nahar Living Room
Saloni comes and says to Kakisa 'dhog du' (touch your feet). Kakisa dryly replies that live long and be happy. Jhooma feels happy at this. Saloni asks her what is her mistake and she will rectify it. Kakisa says that need not bother. I had heard from family members that you cook well and earlier becoz of my bad luck I cld not eat it but now I wish to taste the special food. Saloni happily asks what shd she cook and Kakisa tells her paneer dish. Saloni leaves. Jhooma asks Kakisa if she wld really eat the food prepared by 'koyle ki khaan'. Kaki sweetly calls her in front and gives her tight slap. Kaki warns her to keep control on her tongue or else every morning she will receive a slap.
Kitchen
Saloni is cooking, she tastes & closes cooker and moves out. Jhooma enters. She rubs her cheek and remembers the slap and thinks that she got lot of scolding becoz of her and now she will take revenge. She picks a jar of lemon slices in vinegar (seemed like that) and pours it the cooker. Dheer walks in and grasps her in his arms & tickles her all over but Jhooma tries to stop him & free herself and pretends that Aditi is there and saves herself.
Dining Table
Tara tells that Saloni has prepared food with double effort today esp for Kakisa. Nahar and all taste food and find it distasteful. Nahar says that Saloni you shd have told us that the food only smells good but tastes bad. Saloni hurt leaves. Brijesh tells why did you tease her? Nahar says that he was only joking, at this Bhabho tells him not a joke shd not hurt someone. Tara says even we have at times spoiled food, it happens sometimes. Kakisa tells Nahar that Saloni prepared the food first time hence might be nervous so you shd go now and coax her. Nahar goes. Jhooma smiles.
Nahar Room
Nahar tells Saloni he does not understand what is a joke and just blabbered without thinking. He holds his ears and starts to bend up-down. Saloni sees him & stops him. Nahar asks him to forgive him and Saloni smiles and forgives. Brijesh calls Nahar.
Dining Table
Saloni sees everyone eating food and stops them and tells she will prepare something. Aditi tells Saloni that the food is good and she must taste. Saloni tastes and finds it good. She asks how was it done and Kakisa tells the credit goes to Bhavri. Saloni asks Bhabho how she did but Bhabho tells her that first she shd become her 'shishya' and give her 'guru dakshina' then she will tell. All laugh out.
Gayatri room
Dhananjay is upset and Gayatri asks him what is the problem and what's troubling him? She is now his wife so deserves to know. Dhananjay says that he had thought once he gets a job he will get a house and all problems will be solved but now all will remain a dream. Police verification is reqd for the job and when they come to know abt the theft case, who will give him a job? Ambika overhears this.
Kaveri Room
Ambika asks Kaveri if she can ask for one favour which she shd not refuse. Kaveri says what service can she render as she is her only loving bahu so she will do everything for her. Ambika tells her to take the police case against Dhananjay back. Kaveri answers that you have lot of courage but she has no pity for the thief. Ambika tells her that Jamaisa is not a thief and she has falsely implicated him. Kaveri says agreed but a police case is still there and he is guilty. Ambika with folded hands requests that after a long time happiness has come in Gayatri's life and she shd not turn it into darkness'. Kaveri ans that do not fold hands in front of me or else I wld be sinned. I will take the case back but on one small condition. Ambika asks whatever is in her control she will do. Kaveri says that Gayatri buasa has to leave the house and go away. Ambika replies that once Dhananjay gets a job they will leave the house. Kaveri tells her that I am not talking abt if's and but's she has to leave today right now. Ambika worried asks her where wld they go? This is a useless demand. Dhananjay himself has no shelter where wld he take Gayatri and she cannot allow them to roam on roads. Gayatri is the daughter of this house and will not go. Kaveri says she doesn't care and she need not waste her time. Ambika relents but Kaveri tells her not tell Buasa or Papaji that this is her demand or else she is wise enough to know. Ambika leaves and Kaveri happily thinks from one arrow she has hit two targets. By throwing Buasa out of house Saloni will be hurt too and this will put cold water on her heat for revenge. The house papers are with her and the house has only been mortgaged and she needs to get Papaji's and Buasa's signature on them.

Narpat and Dheer are talking abt a place to live. Gayatri brings in tea and Saloni calls up and wants to talk regd Dhananjay's job. Gayatri keeps it on hold and is abt to tell them when Ambika comes there and informs them that she wants to share something important with them, which might shock them. Jamaiji needs to take Gayatri and leave the house right now forever and never return. How you manage or where do you live I have no concern, just take Gayatri away. Narpat asks her what's she saying and Dhananjay has no place to live hence where will he take Gayatri? Ambika says that after marriage both daughters and sisters live in sasural and not maika. Already this marriage is objectionable and there is lot of talk and I do not want any more objections. We have to follow society's dictums. After marriage the daughter needs to live in sasural. I want no more Ques & Ans and arguments regd this. My decision is for all of you to abide.
