Secret is revealed..

Straight from the horse's mouth:

Nahar & Antara bachpan ke dost hain..(childhood best friends).. They liked each other alot, and no one could come in between them. Nahar had a flair for painting, but used to make only Antara's paintings...Antara was a beautiful young girl who grew up with Nahar as she was the family servant's daughter. Her favorite color was cream, and nahar has lots of paintings in that "purani dodi" of antara's in white/cream saree in various poses.

One day, someone expresses the desire to get Nahar and Antara married, and family elders object because she comes from a poor servants family.. So they decide to get her forcibly married off to someone else and she commits suicide because of this in Nahars ancestral property. Her father-the old servant goes mad because of this and Nahar and his family were to blame for it. (Thats why tara said that ek bahut bhayanak ghatna is ghar mein bhi hui thi)..and for the sake of family honor, they squashed the issue before it became public and no one ever talks about it.

When saloni finds out about this, she will be horrified because a person was killed, father became mad, and her husband and family are the cause of it. Since she is the satyavadi insaaf ki murti types, she must decide whether she should bring insaaf for the poor girl and her father, which would eventually mean going against her husband and family and the kasme-vaade she made during the saath phere. Does this mean that finally saloni will have to choose between doing what she has always believed in, or surrender to the zanjeer tied in her legs by her saath phere!

Connotations: Antara could have resembled saloni and thats why Nahar wanted to marry her once he set eyes on saloni. Antara's father maybe kept in that "purani dodi" and Nahar must be going there every night to give him food and to make sure that he is ok, and must be doing all this as paschaataap (remorse). Also Anatara-Nahar relationship may explain why Nahar is so freakishly understanding of Neel and Saloni's relationship inspite of knowing that they once liked each other, since he knows what childhood friendship is all about, and has gone through this phase.

genius, i must say that is a genius interpretation. good thinking. now they better come out with the bloody secret soon, cuz i have a feeling in the end it's gonna be disappointing. better not happen!

p.s. i always found nahar's understadning toward's neel unrealistic, no guy is like that in real life, the way i would interpret it is that the guy probably doesn't care what his wife does and hence, does not really love her. beceause love comes with at least a tiny bit of possessiveness, it's only natural. so yeah, seems like u're on the right track!

I totally agree no man will tolerate even wife's close friendship with another man. let alone an ex-boyfriend. It is totally unrealstic. I have hard time understanding Nahar's decision letting Saloni even sing with Neel. That probabely bring a big strain on nahar-Saloni relationship. I still don't think that Saloni will go after Nahar's family or leave him.

1 Nahar loved the girl. he wanted to marry her He was not the reason for girls'suicide directly.
2. Brijesh's family did not kill her. See even shubhra was going to commit suicide after they were going to marry her off to Karan. If shubhra did I don't think Saloni will cut relation with her parents.
I think secret is something else. I am 100% sure. Something very big. We can speculate any thing. But then they will come up with something totally different and very devastating.

ur probably right, that may not sound like reason enough to go after the family or leave nahar... but its not hard to convert the suicide to "murder" or "rape".. and u know something... one of my friends recently told me (during a discussion about bride burning and torture and all that) that if you force someone enough to drive them to suicide then, according to indian law, u can be charged with murder of that person (like when someone leaves chitti saying that so and so drove me to suicide) .. and lets face it, Nahar dint do anything to stop the wedding and help her, and the elders forced her into marrying someone against her will..so there is the intent. Trust our Saloni to know the entire Indian Penal Code by heart :-) Maybe thats y they are not telling her anything.. because she will start talking about *justice* and might have to cross swords with Nahar on this..

btw, I just wrote out my version of the secret, because I got sooooooo frustrated waiting for the suspense to come out.. After checking all the updates, I realised that these people have not opened the suspense even in the May 5th-India episode.. and we are so behind here in the US :-( compared to that, that I think I will just die of anxiety.

So this was therapeutic (and not to mention relaxing and fulfilling) for me! Hope u all also had a thrilling 2 mins reading it, as I did writing it!

Hi genius I knew it was your version. I still am not convince it has anything to do with Saloni and Nahar's saat phere. At this point I am more convince they are putting oil and fire together. that will be Saloni and Neel.That will be the major reason for Nahar-Saloni split. May be Nahar is trying to ease burden he is carying with whatever past relation he had and let the things sort out itsef. That was also the reason that he went ahead with marrying off his fiance(Saloni). He may be thinking if Neel and Saloni will sing together. May be Saloni will understand my past relation.
Another thing is based on there trp rating they are not going to split Nahar-Saloni. To good a chemistry there. They can't afford to loose Nahar at this point. i am sure they are not revealing the secret soon. They have close to 60 episodes still left. So they may wait a month or so even before they reveal this. But before that they will start something between Neel saloni. We just have to wait 2 months or more for the secret.

They have 200 episodes or 207 episodes. I read it somewhere in the forum. interview or something. That is right, close to 3 months for US close to 4 months.

i agree with rama . i actually notice one thing and that is all sereial in the begining they get grant of nearly 100 episods so during that time it run and if that sereial has good rating they got another extensin of 100 so now they have to divert serial in some way so they include new character in it so every time their deadline seems coming near we feel this serial is going to finish but as soon as they get new episods they start dragging it. and if they asked to finished it they either kill somebody or change vamp in good person so that is the end .
