I feel really angry at him...Is he dumb. when kaveri shouts insanity..he just stands there like a statue...not uttering a word.. as if she is the owner of the house...He's her father in law..he runs the house.... why doesnt he say something..put her to her place.....He's such a weak character.

I agree he should be just standing there and not say anything. But in India this is what happens in most houses after retirement. Son takes the care of the house and so called bahu thinks she is the owner. this is life

I agree son takes over. But the thing is that Narpat never had voice in his house. Ambika always ruled the house. Now Kaveri is doing it. It is shame though.
