Ambika is very upset but Gayatri manages the situation. Saloni is ready to move to her maiyka. Tara reminds Saloni about the boy for Shubhra. Saloni enters her maiya and everyone stops talking as they are discussing the doctors opinion. Saloni tell them about the rishta. Narpat asks her for time to consider and Shubhra turns down the proposal. Saloni tries to pursuade him when suddenly, due to the pent up tension, Narpat bursts out on her. Saloni is taken aback. Ambika breaks down seeing this. Shubhra, knowing that her situation is causing so much unhappiness, tries to commit suicide.
