do you think Kaveri should give her money to her MIL for Saloni's marriage? or it is purely her money and she can do whatever she wants?

What is your opinion?😊

I think...oh I take that back...I don't think too much...but sometimes I perceive things here and there. So my perception is that Kaveri is an ultra 🤬 🤬 🤬 on a power trip. She can do whatever she wants with the money, but she will flaunt it to show Saloni her place. 🤢

I think its about time they stop the dowry system cos it is like a curse for girls to be born knowing the parents have to work hard somehow to marry them off and even than the in laws are never satisfied. They always demand for more and makes the lives of these girls so misearable that most see no way out of thier dielemma and the only option they have is suicide or divorce whereby they cant even go back to their parents house cos it will be considered a shame.

Whether we are living in the 14th Century or the 20th the fact remains that the dowry system still exists and should be abolished.

dowry system is abolished and a criminal offense in india. but the fact is that no one complains about it. it can't be stopped unless people stop giving it. many parents who can afford pay very good amount to groom's family.

i think that the whole thing should stop. i mean wat if the girls parents don't have the money. will that mean that she will live a single life and be a burden for her family. coz indian tradition doesn't like a girl of a marriage age living with her family .

I do not think that the dowry system exists the way it has been shown in Saat Phere. The marriages are lavish and a lot of money is spent on clothing, jewelery, appliances, and gifts etc., but I have never seen so much cash like 35 - 40 lakhs being given to the in-laws. Times have changed in India and grooms look for educated girls than for money.

Dowry system is abolished and a criminal offense in India, but now the girls are taking undue advantage of it. As per law, in-laws can be put behind the bars and cannot give any justification if a girl reports that she is being harrased for the dowry. So the girls use this law to their advantage to threaten the in-laws even if they are innocent.

sangeeta! i personally know a girl's family who gave 35 lakhs to guy's family. in this case both are rich so no one has any problem and guy's family didn't ask for it. girl's dad gave it as "pocket money".
