An alternate track for SBS in Aish's absence

I wrote this piece yesterday in another thread. I got some unexpected appreciation 😉 and decided to make a separate post so more people can read and comment on it. I am not very good at expression, may be Tejy or Archana (Arch.Archu) who occasionally write SSs on the forum would have done justice to it. Here sharing a few ideas that came to my mind for an alternate track that could have worked in Aishwarya/Toasty's absence (considering that she is unable to stay in Mumbai and shoot for SBS due to her personal health problems). Thanks!

Toasty's mom or dad (say mom) gets diagnosed with rare disease which can only be cured in the US by one particular physician who has successfully handled similar cases earlier (kind of how Yuvraj went to US for his cancer treatment).

Since, it is crucial year at studies for Dimple so she can't go along and entire C-parivar comes together to convince Toasty to go with her parents to the US. Now from US, Toasty keeps calling home, giving updates on progress of her mom's health, talks to everyone and participate from distance (via phone) in day to day activities of C-house.

Meanwhile Dimple stays with C-family in C-house. Best opportunity for Prachin-Dimple love story to develop as Dimple misses her family and is worried about her mom while living in the same house as Prachin. They both go to college together...etc etc.

An extra focus on Nitika-Ved love story and also a chance to show Nitika-parents' bonding again.

Some Malti-Pashu scenes and also Malti-Dadaji scenes.

Dadaji getting his legs fixed. Tej and Malti helps with that.

Gyan graduating from high school with great results and his dilemma of choosing a Major for higher studies.

Prachin and Dimple graduating too. Prachin getting a scholarship to a well-renowned college for plant research (horticulture).

Pitaji enjoying life and being happy seeing growth of business and both shops doing well.

Finally, Malti in labor pain, no one in the house (just like today) and Toasty enters the house just in time, calls in the doctor, doctor comes to home and together with Toasty and Tej, helps in home delivery of a beautiful child. A scene where Tej and Toasty are holding the new born and talking about having their own very soon.

Last scene of SBS, new baby in palna (bassinet), house decorated with flowers, everyone in beautiful clothes (including Toasty's healthy parents), sharing sweets and singing songs...The Happy End :)

I have loved this show and SBS family with all my heart...can only imagine nice things happening to them.

Just a thought...WHAT IF...tomorrow Tej gets really sick and is hospitalized...Toasty comes to know of this through her mom...will she be able to control herself and not come out of her hiding to see him...hug him and take care of him???

nice post again!!! really hope things would have gone this way. they could have easily passed a month with all that.. .and shoot the last episode with Aishwarya before she left..

Didi, this is an awesome alternate track!! I wish the CVs had more brains to be able to come up with such a way to make up for Aish being gone.

Lol, your thought with Tej being hospitalized...I was thinking on the same terms the other day since I've been toying with a couple short stories on what will happen next in my interpretation based on some of the epis 😆 but i like your happy story much much better...they should have done something like this instead of introducing Toasty's brain tumor.

I'm really worried about Aishwarya though :( Sounds serious and I wish her a speedy recovery and to be well again soon <3 I miss her so much :( Just hearing her voice recordings in the epis is a relief to me and makes me happy but I hope her health issue is under control <3 <3

Toasty would be worried... definitely.. but if she sees that this could help form a relationship between Smiley and Tej, she would probably back-off...

Somehow I want Smiley out of the picture. I don't have anything against her, in fact, she is the first outside/extra/temp character that I liked on SBS but I have zero interest in Tej-Smiley marriage track...just writing their names together makes me hate myself 😆
