Saas Bina Sasural To Take Seasonal Break !

Saas Bina Sasural, One of Sony Entertainment Television's longest running show, is soon going off air.

The Optimystix's show, Saas Bina Sasural which has completed a run of two-and-a-half years, is tipped to end in the beginning of September tentatively the sixth. The main reason as told by the channel and production house behind the decision is protagonist Aishwarya Sakhuja aka Toasty's health woes but along with that the show has been plummeting on the rating chart.

Confirming the News Sneha Rajani, Business Head, Sony Entertainment Television,

"Yes,Saas Bina Sasural will go off air. Actually, Aishwarya has been keeping unwell and she is too dear to Sony, so we don't want to replace her. We are yet to figure out the end track. I want Aishwarya to go back to her hometown Delhi and recuperate."

Aishwarya Sakhuja has been keeping unwell for quite some time and has been struggling to cope with the erratic shooting schedule.

Aishwarya Sakhuja confirmed the development but insisted the show is only taking a seasonal break. So, not be surprised if a Saas Bina Sasural season 2 is announced nears the end of Kaun Banega Cororepati this season.

How did Kaun Banega Cororepati come in? Very simple, the time slot that Saas Bina Sasural currently has is a prime time slot (The time when all seasons Kaun BanegaCororepati was usually aired.) The Game show hosted by megastar AmitabhBachchan yet again will be back in its prime time slot, as said by the Channel officials.

Sony Entertainment Television (SET) senior vice president and marketing head DanishKhan quoted, "We have not decided the days but the talks are on. We will soon make an official announcement; KBC had been slotted for either 8.30 or 9 p.m. time band so far."

The communication theme for the upcoming season of Kaun Banega Cororepati is "Sirf Gyaan Hi Aapko Aapka Haq Dila Sakta Hai" and on cue, KBC 2012 is slated to telecast by August end or by September.

Therefore, there can be no trouble in guessing that Saas Bina Sasural will be replaced byKaun Banega Cororepati and if there is a season 2 in pipeline it can probably replaceKaun Banega Cororepati. Furthermore, there is another show in the race of replacingSaas Bina Sasural, Shashi-Summet Productions' Pvt Ltd's upcoming show Beauty and the Beast.

So will Kaun Banega Cororepati win or Beauty and the Beast? The winner will be announced soon as the promo of the Sasural being 'bina saas and Toasty' is already aired. The only thing to look forward is how will the Chaturvedi family handle all this; and to what extend the new entry 'Smiley aka Rubina Dilaik' will be able to fill the all miracle worker 'Toasty's' shoes. After all, she is a miracle in herself because there is no limit of hypothetical situations in a show. I mean you are in the final stage of Brain Tumour and still can work in kitchen, cook for a large family, solve everyone's problem and fight your disease for some more days. Ufff…that's a lot of work for a brain, maybe that's why the tumour existed in the first place.
