The epi begins with yesterday's scene about Pashu and Tej asking for 70 Lakh RS to buy the shop next door.

PitaJi asks why is RadheShyam asking for 70 Lakhs? Tej replies that he's being a fool. PitaJi says he isn't the fool, Pashu and Tej are the fools.

He goes on to say that he has known RadheShyam for years.

Tej tells PitaJi that RadheShyam told them that he needs to sell the shop because of some personal problem and go back to his village. PitaJi says he finds something fishy going on. Pashu says that he doesn't want to sell the shop, he has to sell the shop. Pashu sells the idea to PitaJi by saying that they will benefit, the shop will benefit.

Tej says they shouldn't give up on the idea.

Pashu says that the family is growing and their needs are increasing.

Tej talks about how DadaJi and PitaJi both brought the shop to what it is today. He wants him to be proud of them. PitaJi asks for some time to think it over and walks off.

Tej tells Pashu that we don't have much time, if we don't tell him by tomorrow then the shop will get out of our hands. Pashu says they have to make him agree today.

Scene shifts to the house and Ved and Prachin walk in with ice cream instead of Kulfi. Pashu says that it must be expensive. But Prachin uses the famous line: "PitaJi ne kaha, kharcha karo, dil kholkar kharcha karo" (I bet PitaJi is regretting it now! 😆 ). Tej tells that PitaJi may have said that but he didn't say to go around wasting money!

Shobha comes in and sits down and asks aren't they going to have ice cream. (Typical. 🤔 ) Nitika goes to bring the ice cream for everyone. Prachin goes to help.

Dadaji asks Shobha what she has in her hands. Shobha tells him that it's the gift that they are going to gift the guests. DadaJi says it's strange. The time has come where we are giving gifts to those people who are coming to our house! Ved tells him it's a return gift for them.

PitaJi says we're feeding them and everything, isn't that enough? Pashu agrees with him. There's no need to give gifts. Tej says they can't spend so much.

Tej starts eating the ice cream whilst saying, they brought ice cream, it's expensive and is it as good as the Kulfi? He says that it's not necessary that the gift is expensive, but it has to be good.

Nitika says that it's the first child of the house, they should spend openly. And asks PitaJi, isn't that right? Which he has to agree with 😆

Pashu says but there's a limit to that aswell isn't there? He says what if we spend all this, we won't have anything left to eat. We need to think about the future, don't we pitaji? Our family is growing, our responsibility esare growing. We need to be businessman, not spending.

PitaJi asks Shobha is it necessary to give returns gifts? Shobha obviously says yes. He asks how much it'll cost? She says 70rs and then asks Nitika how many women are coming and PitaJi does the math. 24,500 rs. PitaJi says it doesn't look worth 700 rs. Pashu says it only looks 70rs. PitaJi agrees and says our sarees are better than that.

Nitiak says that's a great idea. PitaJi says which idea?? Nitika suggests that they give the women sarees as return gifts. Everyone agrees and make it final, without letting PitaJi getting a word in! 😆 DadaJi whispers to him to leave it, otherwise he'll get labelled kanjoos again. Tej says see, PitaJi's idea is the best! Pashu and Tej start to butter PitaJi up and give him plenty of compliments…

PitaJi is wondering what's up with him.

The next scene after the break is of PitaJi, DadaJi, Pashu, Ved and Tej in DadaJi's room.

He says you don't think I know what's going on? I know what all those compliments for. He asks Ved for his opinion about the shop. Ved says that whatever decision you make, I'll agree because you've seen the world. Tej gives Ved a puppy dog look and Ved adds, that if Pashu says that it'll benefit them then Pashu never makes a wrong decision when it comes to the business but they'll still agree with PitaJi's decision.

Tej says before he makes a decision, he wants to say something. Tej goes on to tell him that the brothers have a dream. That the business will grow and they'll have showrooms and the name of Chaturvedi's shops will be all over the country.

Pashu says we can't start this dream without you. DadaJi tells Chedi that if they don't dream then how will they know the difference between their dreams and reality? He tells Chedi to let the kids try. DadaJi says that the decision will be yours. PitaJi says fine, if you all want this, then we'll buy the shop. The brothers all hug eachother and take blessings.

After the break, Nitika gives Ved a list. She also reminds him about ordering sweets. PitaJi tells DadaJi that tomorrow will be important for the family and the business.

Prachin asks Nitika what cold drinks they want. DadaJi says it's too expensive, he tells them that Vimla made sherbet on Tej's birthday. Gyaan says that's so old fashioned, only greedy people do that. Prachin adds: like PitaJi. PitaJi looks up from his newspaper and looks like he is going to cancel the godhbharai, but then says they'll have cold drinks. Prachin goes off to get them. PitaJi says he's happy to see everyone happy.

Pashu tells Tej that they need to organise the money for the new shop. They both go off.

Nitika goes to buy some flowers, Ved goes to do his chores. Gyaan goes to invite the guests. Nitika chooses some flowers that she likes. Prachin falls out of the rickshaw since it's broken down and he gives it a push. Ved goes to get some sweets. He phones PitaJi to tell him the prices and ask how much sweet to get. Prachin is shown pushing the rickshaw.

At home, DadaJi, PitaJi, Ved, Pashu and Tej are in DadaJi's room again, counting the money. He tells them that he has some fears. Ved says that if he doesn't feel good about it, then they'll leave it. Pashu and Tej give him a look. PitaJi says it's not like that. He hasn't given such a big amount to anyone after gathering so much money after working for it.

DadaJi says it's only because it's their dream. He reminds him of his dream whose fruit is their shop. Ved is shown confused as DadaJi continues his story to say that if he can have his dream, why can't they? They are 5 of them, when he was alone. PitaJi says fine. Ved says wait a minute.

The next scene is Malti asking Pashu why he is worried. Pashu says it's nothing. Malti says that if it's nothing then why aren't you happy? It's my Godhbharai tomorrow for our child and you don't look interested. He says I was trying to make our child's future. The function is just one day, but what I was thinking was for their future. He says because of 3 lakh, everything's ruined. Malti says she doesn't understand. Pashu explains about the shop and the fact that they don't have enough money. Pashu tells her that you can't tell how upset and forlorn I am. Forget me, what about Tej and Ved. Malti tries to comfort him by telling him that when we don't get what we want, God's want is more important than ours. She tells him that she understands his pain. And says that she doesn't want to enjoy the function. He asks what she means and sees how upset she is. He tells her that I hope you aren't thinking of cancelling the function. Do you want to see everyone upset? Malti is deep thought.

Precap: DadaJi tells the evening will be Malti's godhbharai. He says that they'll be celebrating Pashu's godhbharai because he's going to be a father.
