She still thinks she is in her parents house, why can't she help toasty early morning and in the evenings? There are lots of ladies who works and manage house, why nitika can't do it? They should have asked her to manage house for whole day without anyone helping her, then she would have understood what toasty goes throu.

nani maa's character is realy good.. her decision was good to not allow nitika towork outside and help toasty.. malti and toasty dont work outside
if nitika could have done some work arround the house then it would be ok for her to work outside
but she is very selfish ... and ved supports that... how shameful.
naani maa understands that after few months, nitika and malti and toasty's relationship may go to the wrong direection

IT is no one else but Our Dear Toasty to be blamed, she never gave importance to her life , choice and preferences , she herself gave up her career, She also wanted to Join back her school after marriage , but then gave up thinking who will manage the house , but others are thinking about their lives where Toasty is till working for everybody day n night , not giving imp. to her life at all.

I think there is a difference between being selfish n being concerned about your own life, I think if toasty wud have worked after marriage also then everybody would have shared equal responsibility at home, but now they all know that she will do everything around the house. SOOO its toasty only who shud be blamed for her condition and nobody else

videosearcher: The question of who is to be blamed comes only if Toasty is complaining, I never see her doing that so why play the blame game.

Many highly educated women are full-time home-maker by choice. That doesn't make them dumb or any less acceptable in society. One who chooses to do whatever gives happiness to oneself and to the people one loves, is the blessed one. And looking at how much love and respect she has given as well as gained in C-family, I think she is truly blessed.

Right but here I don't think Nitika is given a choice. If Toasty wants to be superhuman and take all the work on her then that doesn't mean that others should do the same. From what I saw, Ved was ready to help couple of times as he was free. According to me that should work. But Nani insisting that jiska kaam usi ko saaje yada yada is annoying. Ved helping Toasty should be acceptable but they always have to show age old mentality of women should do household chores by default. Just doesn't seem right.

It could be respect or it could be just taking someone for granted.

Honestly, Toasty is happy working at home and so Malti, so why the heck should Nitika not work outside, especially when ved is willing to help around the house. Nani ma is just being old fashioned. Yes ideally Nitika should help out at home, but everyone was content with their roles, they why is Nani Ma making it such a big deal. i don't think Nitika is selfish, she is busy those are 2 different things. In families where both people work, such as mine, the husband and wife do home stuff. Why cant Nani just deal with that.

My response was specifically to videosearcher's post (about Toasty) and not the to the original poster. You have to read my other posts elsewhere to understand my POV on Nitika.

In Toasty's case, you will have to admit that she is GIVING respect (and love) to C-family and she is RECEIVING respect (and love) in return. Everyone in C-family including Pitaji is constantly comparing Toasty with the only woman they have learned to idolise, Vimla (their mother and Chedi's wife), what other honor could she ask for me in this family!
