WU 3/6 *Nitika ki naukri*

I'll just be posting the update with comments for Tuesday as it's gotten late here and doing another full Gupshup thread will take some time 😊

So without further ado, here is Tuesday's update.

Written Update: March 6th, 2012

Part 1:

Picks off where yesterdays epi left off with Vedika's suhaag raat...the 3 idiots, aka Tej, Prachin, and Gyaan are then shown sneaking up the stairs and setting base. Prachin asks there are 6 that are about to ring, right? Tej says abey, there are five! He counts them out..one for me, one for you, one is Toasty's, one Pashu bhaiyya's, and then there's Malti bhabhi's. I told you there's only five! He hits Prachin and then they wait for their plan to go into action 😆

Vedika are sitting on the bed with their eyes closed...Nitika opens hers and starts to lean towards Ved to kiss him when an alarm sounding like a code red alarm 🤣 goes off and Ved goes to look for the source...he finds a phone and says looks like Prachin accidentally left his phone here. They sit back down and Ved closes his eyes (sach mein yaar...yeh dulhan hai 🤣) and Nitika starts leaning towards him again when another alarm goes off 🤣...Ved lifts the mattress up to find Tej's phone...he says I don't know. The shararate vaale are laughing away on the stairs and Tej looks at his watch, signaling that the next alarm is about to go off 🤣...the third alarm--Toasty's phone under the pillow--goes off. Niki asks Ved whose phone it is and Ved says Toasty's. Niki nods her head like I'm going to kill you, Toasty 😆 Pashu bhaiyya's phone goes off then from the side table and Ved confirms that its Pashu's. Nitika asks whose is left? Ved says Malti bhabhi's. Niki says that will ring now too...and lo and behold, Malti's phone rings from above the cupboard. 🤣 (So this is what those monkeys were up to while they were upstairs 🤣) Nitika asks if there are any more and Ved says no...she says Dadaji? Ved says no, he uses landline. Niki sits on the bed and so does Ved...Ved then stands up as he thinks he hears ringing but Niki tells him, it's just in his ears 😆

Back at the mission base, Tej tells his two sidekicks chale, now we've done our shararat...lets go back quietly to our own rooms and pretend like we don't know anything. Gyaan says I think we should call all the cell phones now and keep them ringing throughout the night. 🤣 Tej says this is ten steps ahead of my plan and let's let it be...they are newly weds and it is their first night. Gyaan asks so? Tej is unsure how to explain at first but then pats his face and says when you get married, you'll understand...he gently slaps his face. 😆

😍 Tejy's Favorite Scene of the Day ☺️ Toasty is humming when Tej comes laughing hysterically into the room and says "tring tring" while tickling Toasty. Toasty asks have you done your shararate?...she is folding the blanket. Tej says yeah, whatever shararat we were to do there, we've done...now I'll do shararat here "tring tring" and he tickles Toasty again. Toasty says what shararat? Tej says actually I have a new student, who I am giving a crash course for what to do his first night after marriage...so while I was giving this crash course and giving lecture, I realized that I shouldn't just test the material but also do a practical exam...and the new student is so-so, and so then I thought that you are also a good student of mine and these types of practicals you do really well in so...Toasty says acha acha ji...Tej says haan ji, leaning his head against the side of Toasty's face. Toasty says acha ji...Tej says haan ji...Toasty elbows his stomach and says I don't mean the question vaala acha ji...Tej asks then? Toasty says I mean the yes vaala acha ji...Tej's face lights up and he asks acha ji? and Toasty says haan ji...Tej says acha ji and grabs the ends of the blankets and pulls it up over them as Toasty laughs and screams haan ji. 🤣 (I live for TejYa besharmi...let me just throw that out there)

The next morning...Malti is making chai but she is feeling very nauseous...Toasty comes in and sees that she is not feeling well and questions her about it...she tells Malti to go rest and Malti insists that she will make the chai and then go. Toasty stands up straight and in a stern voice says Malti bahu! Do as you are told and go rest. She bursts out laughing then along with Malti and asks Malti if she got scared...Malti says I thought you were being serious...saasu ma 😆 Malti goes to rest.

Part 2:

Most of the family is gathered in the hall. Toasty comes with chai and Pashu asks why Pitaji left for Surat in such a rush. (Soo...Pitaji went back to village so soon?? 😕 Hope he comes back as the same Pitaji...I get nervous whenever Pitaji leaves and comes back because he always brings some kind of tension back with him, right after he's had a good run as my favorite avatar of Pitaji) Toasty explains that his friend or some saree supplier (can't remember) had a good offer and so he left quickly this morning. Tej says you could have woken me up, na Toasty? Toasty says I told him to wait a little and Tej will drop you off but he said no that's ok, and went off in an auto. Dadaji says look at how much your father has changed...he's not doing as much kanjoosi nowadays...he even spent on an auto 😆

Gyaan and Prachin branch this mention off to how they are still getting only 100 rupees pocket money and ask Pashu if he can convince Pitaji to give them a raise. Pashu says even he still gets only 100 rupees and he is married and working, and it is enough for him (umm...does he really only get 100 rupees?? :/ Same applying to the others...I mean how does Tej pay off his card and how will he pay off his loan now when he only gets an allowance of 100 rupees a week and the rest of the money is used for household expenses :/) Prachin and Gyaan ask for it to be raised to 150 rupees but Pashu says pocket money will probably be cut now as there is a new member in the house...before there were only 7 of them...then Toasty came...then Malti...and now Nitika...so money has to be rationed likewise.

Nitika and Ved come down and Tej picks on Ved and slyly jokes about the alarms. Ved makes a face at him and says so you were the one who did that? Tej says not just me, they also did and points at Prachin and Gyaan, who point at Tej and say master mind. (🤣 Of course mera Tej babu hi mastermind hoga na...aur kaun mastermind hai? 🤣) Nitika asks Pashu to please not cut Gyaan and Prachin's pocket money and to instead give them her shares as well, as she has a job. Pashu says you did but now how will you go for your job. Nitika is like meaning? Pashu explains how in this house, the women don't do a job outside of the house...he tells her the same thing happened with Toasty...even she had to leave her school job and even Malti has stopped her job of making food for the center. It's the law of the house. Toasty says haan but I left my school job then because I was needed here and no one forced me to leave my job...I chose to tutor Gyaan and Prachin instead and Malti bhabhi left hers to take care of the household work. Pashu says I'm not trying to force either...do I want to make myself a villain in front of Nitika? I'm just saying what Pitaji has set for the house and if you want to try, you can talk to Pitaji. They decide to talk to Pitaji when he gets back from Surat but Nitika says that she has to give her answer within two days or her position will go to someone else...and Pitaji could take 4 to 5 days in coming back...Tej tells Toasty to call Pitaji now itself then but Toasty is nervous and says not now, later...Dadaji asks why and Toasty says I have to summon up some courage to talk to him first.

Part 3:

Malti is sitting on her bed wondering if she should tell the family about her state (possible pregnancy)...she decides against it as she doesn't want to repeat the fiasco that happened with Toasty and give everyone false hopes to find out that it isn't true. She calls up the doctor and I couldn't tell if it was confirmed or if she just set up an appointment but she sounded really confident that her pregnancy was confirmed and she decides to wait until Pitaji gets back to tell the whole family...she is happy as the whole family will go crazy with joy when she tells them.

Ved is praying for Nitika and for her to keep her job so that everything is good and well. (Aww, I love when these C husbands get protective about their wives' rights 😊) Nitika comes and asks to know what he is praying for as she will also pray for the same and tehn their combined prayer will be answered...Ved tells her and Nitika says that Toasty is going to talk to Pitaji and whatever Pitaji's decision is, I'll be fine with it. Ved says really? and he is at peace.

Toasty calls up Pitaji and Pitaji is really happy to see his ladli bahu's call on his phone. She tells him she wants to talk to him about Nitika and he asks what about and she explains about her job and the situation. PItaji asks what is the need, etc. and Toasty explains that it has nothing to do with earning money but with one's own self respect...Pitaji is worried about possible problems in the house but Toasty assures him there will be no problems. She asks Pitaji, please and Pitaji says what was the point in calling when you called to only take a haan? He says I will have to tell you haan na? Toasty says thank you Pitaji!! and Pitaji tells her that he is giving her this haan on the condition that nothing will go wrong and he is giving her that responsibility. Toasty thanks him and they both hang up the phone...Toasty is really happy. (I don't know...I know that Toasty is happy being in the house but doesn't she miss teaching even an inkling...I don't think it's fair that Pitaji is saying yes to Nitika but Toasty still probably will never be able to go back to teaching :/...I really think it's time that they modernize the thinking in this aspect...I mean Toasty was handling both house and work well those few days that she was getting ready to go back...and now with Nitika and Malti to split the work with I want to see Toasty go back as well...just my personal view :/)

Pre-Cap: Pashu says so we are going to celebrate Holi in Chaturvedi house!? Dadaji says yes of course and from now on, we will celebrate every festival! Gyaan and Prachin are then shown later where Prachin pulls out thandai and then pulls out bhaang and says that he will make sure that his 3 bhaiyyas and 3 bhabhis all drink this bhaang. Malti is shown in her room worrying and praying that everything goes well with this pregnancy and that no one's evil eye is cast on them. (With these two clips right next to each other, I have a really bad feeling that something is going to happen with Malti's pregnancy :/ because of the bhaang :/...vaise wouldn't bhaang be on the same blacklist in the C house as alcohol so what is Prachin thinking bringing banned substances into the house >.<)

it was an awesome episode as always ..

I hope the bhaang doesnt intervene in malti's preg----------it never does but they can show it
