Chalo, first off, to calm down all the panicking (which also included me earlier today)...I talked with my very close friend/sister, Maria, who is active in the BALH forum and does updates there...she told me it's confirmed that Ekta wants the 10:00 slot for her new show and that SBS is not ending but moving to 8:30 from January 30th (not 16th)...so for anyone who still is worried about SBS ending due to the rumors, don't worry, SBS is not ending 😛 Ab humaara yeh farz banta hai that we increase SBS's TRPs in the 8:30 slot to keep it strong and I have full faith that we can do that for our show! 😊
EDIT!! Just saw this on FB and then saw it's been posted in the forum but will post it here too to clear up any confusion. Meghan (Gyaan) has confirmed that from January 30th, SBS will air from 9 PM, not 8:30. 😊 Keep the TRPs of SBS up even at the 9 slot everyone...matlab everyone in India, please try to watch SBS at 9 because I don't think re-telecasts count for TRPs, though I'm not quite sure how exactly TRPs work 😆
Second topic: I'm kind of disappointed with the chaskameter rating...I was hoping we would keep going up after our 8 point leap...but we dropped down 8 points instead! Come on guys...keep hitting the starts whenever you visit the main page and bring up SBS's chaskameter rating...it's a good way to show how much we love our show 😊

Written Update: January 9th, 2012
Part 1
Tej tells Ved to go and think. Once Ved leaves, Pitaji turns his back around and Tej asks Pitaji for forgiveness for talking in this way, but whatever he is saying is for the good of Ved. Pitaji tells him, staying with Toasty, you have started talking like Toasty too. (😡 Toh iss mein burai kya hai? Aap hi ne toh kahaa tha na ke Toasty hamesha ache karti hai! 😡) I was talking to Ved, na? So why did you come in between? Tej makes semi annoyed looks. Pitaji says but Ved is not like you...he is my good son...he doesn't speak rudely to me and then ask for forgiveness later...he'll marry Kiya. Tej says but he loves Nitika so how can he spend his life with Kiya? PItaji says I'm not only older than you in age but with life experience and with that experience I tell you that love can happen after marriage as well...it's not necessary to always marry your first love. When you share your good and bad times together, then love will happen on its own...and this is what will happen for Ved. Tej looks annoyed.
At the mandir, Nitika is sitting on a bench waiting for Ved. Ved comes and doesn't see her and walks past and goes inside the mandir. Nitika waits for him to come back and when he starts walking off, she goes and grabs his arm. They both sit down on the bench and Nitika asks him what happened and whether there is a problem at home. She asks him to tell her. She waits and then gets frustrated and gets up...Ved asks her what happened, why did you get up? Nitika says a little angrily when your mood is better then we'll talk...when you get out of yourself and feel like sharing your problems with me, then we'll talk. Ved says why are you saying like that? Nitika says so what else should I say? Just because I come to the mandir all the time doesn't mean I have to talk sweetly all the time. Ved gets frustrated and says why does everything have to go your way? When you feel like talking, we have to talk and when you don't feel like talking, then don't talk. If I don't say something, it's possible there's something going on inside of me. Nitika says why don't you tell me then? Maybe I can help. Ved says if I'm not telling you then it'll be some kind of troubling matter. Nitika says please don't sit quietly like that and scare me...she then asks if he talked to Pitaji about them yet...Ved says no. Nitika looks upset and asks why. He looks at her helplessly and she gets up scared and upset...she says whatever it is, tell me now itself because if you back out later, then I might do something. She leaves and Ved looks upset.
Back at home, seems like Toasty was talking to Tej about his conversation with Pitaji and she places the phone down. Dadaji asks and Toasty is about to explain when Ved walks in and sits down all tense. Dadaji asks him what happened. Ved says Pitaji wants me to fulfill his promise by marrying Kiya...this is my farz but Dadaji, what do I do about the promise I made to Nitika? If I tell her that I can't marry her, then she'll die. What should I do? Choose my love or my responsibility? Dadaji says why are you crying? He tells Toasty to call up Pitaji and says I'll talk to him...what manner is this to deal with his kids? Toasty says Dadaji, that's not needed right now (Toasty!!! You should have let him! Dadaji is the one person Pitaji might actually listen too!! You just killed your best chance ) She tells Ved, Pitaji told you his matter but have you told him about your feelings? Have you told Pitaji what you want? Dadaji says don't lose hope, we're all with you.
At Nitika's place, Nitika is wondering what is wrong with Ved that he is acting like this...she hopes everything is alright. She then calls up Toasty. Toasty sees that its Nitika and puts on a happy voice for her...she says I was just about to call you. Nitika asks her about Ved and whether or not there is a problem with the shaadi baat...Toasty says it's nothing like that...there's a problem at home that has not just Ved but everyone tense. Nitika asks to know but Toasty says it's ok, we're all here and we'll find a solution...you don't worry, Ved bhaiya will get married to you only, this is my promise! (Oooh...Toasty's vaada vs. Pitaji's vaada 😆 I'm rooting for Toasty, obviously 😆 Toasty! Toasty! Toasty! Gooo Toasty!!! 🤣 1 point goes to Toasty automatically because Ved loves Nitika and everyone disagrees with Pitaji...so Toasty:1 Pitaji:0 😆) Toasty tells her another baat...when Ved bhaiya sees you upset, he becomes even more upset so you'll have to stay happy for him. Nitika says ok...thanks...they both keep the phone down after saying bye. Nitika says I'm so stupid..he was so tense and I increased his tension by talking like that with him.
Part 2:
Dadaji takes off his glasses and puts them on the newspaper...Kiya walks in and bumps into it and knocks the glasses on the ground accidentally. She looks annoyed and picks them up and rudely says here you go. Dadaji says thanks...beta walk a little more carefully. She says me!? I should walk carefully!? And you? You're sitting here in the middle, is this any place to sit!? (😡Yeh Kiya...I'm going to slap her...don't you dare talk to my cute Dadaji like that 😡 Dadaji, you should tell this to Pitaji!! Another point to Toasty for Kiya being a bratty, inconsiderate and rude girl that isn't Chaturvedi material...Toasty:2 Pitaji:0) She says if you sit here, then obviously I'll bump into you on my way to my room...honestly you shouldn't be sitting here, Dadaji. Dadaji says ok...but the matter is that this is my house and it's my honor that you're staying here with us but the matter is that this wheelchair I'm sitting on, stops whenever it pleases and I can't do anything about it. Kiya says so that's your fault isn't it? Toasty comes there and says Kiya this is no way to talk to your elders! (Bilkul Toasty!! Toasty:3 Pitaji:0 😛) Kiya asks what wrong did I do? Toasty says you aren't understanding what you did? Kiya says he was sitting in the middle, it was his fault, what did I do? When elders do something wrong, we should tell them. Toasty is about to say something and Dadaji says bas, let it go. Toasty says no, she should know how elders should be treated...anything can be looked over in this house but not being disrespectful to elders, especially not Dadaji. Kiya says so what should I do? Toasty says you could at least say sorry. Kiya says fine! and rudely says sorry to Dadaji, to Toasty, and just in general. She asks are you happy? rudely and goes.
It's evening and the army minus Ved is gathered in TejYa's bedroom. Toasty is telling them about the Kiya incident and Pashu says that if he was there, he would have slapped her and set her straight. Tej says Pashu bhaiya is right. Toasty says this matters done with, we'll let it go...,now let's get to the main topic...Ved bhaiya...what should we do with this situation? Pitaji is holding onto his stubborness to get him married to Kiya. I'm not against anyone...it might be that Kiya is good for some other boy, but she's not right for Ved bhaiya. Prachin says so bhabhi, you do something. Toasty says what should I do? Gyaan says if you remember, Pitaji was like this during the time of Malti bhabhi's situation as well...the situation was such that everyone got angry hearing Malti bhabhi's name but you brought her back and everything is fine now. Tej says absolutely right...do something...(haaaii, the look he gives her 😍 it was proud/adoring/worshipping...for Tej's expression, Toasty gets an extra point 😆 Toasty:4 Pitaji:0 🤣) He says use your magic and do something. Toasty says she's confused as to what to do...it's hard to find a solution to Pitaji's promise and zimidaari. Malti says I feel weird just thinking about Kiya...Toasty says I told Ved bhaiya to say something...Pashu says he won't..I'm telling you he won't say anything...he thinks about others before himself, he won't open his mouth. Toasty says, fine, he won't say anything but we all can come together and say something, right? We can say all this won't happen "yeh sab nahin chalegi"... (another andolan!!! 👏😆) a girl that doesn't live by the rules of this house, she can't become the bahu of this house...that girl can't become the bahu of this house at all! Tej says well said, meri Jhansi ki Rani 👏 😆 (Lol, I was missing Toasty's Jhansi ki Rani nickname from Tej aur dekho, aaj keh diya na 😆 Ek aur point toh banta hai iss baat ke liye aur following baat ke liye 😆 Toasty:5 Pitaji:0) Tej says you know everyone, every time whenever she starts talking this way, I'm always against her, I never support her...but this time I give you my full support, go! Pashu says not just you, hum...in this house, we all are together...everyone says they are with Toasty. ( 😉 Toasty:6, Pitaji:0 😛) Kiya is listening to everything outside the door.
Part 3:
(Oh God...just listening to this girl's talks irritate me...I'm going to shorten up her parts like with Shobha kyonki mujse bardasht nahin hota to re-listen to her annoyingness 😡) Kiya realizes that Toasty is the cause behind all changes in the house and everything goes by what Toasty wants and that Toasty can be dangerous to her plans. Toasty comes into the room with milk for her...Kiya tells her that she heard everyone's conversation about her. Toasty tries to explain to her that the matter is just that she is just too different for the house and Kiya says you were saying that I'm not right for Ved but I want to say something...Ved isn't good enough for me... She mentions how Ved is living in Mahabharat era and who would want to marry him? Toasty says you want to marry him...you said so yourself. Kiya says it's my majboori and explains the whole situation to Toasty about Pitaji being a trustee in her dad's will and the inheritance going to an NGO if she doesn't marry Pitaji's choice and stay married for a year...she tells Toasty that she plans on divorcing Ved after a year. She gets frustrated and pulls out her alcohol and takes a swig. Toasty looks at her shocked and says you're drinking alcohol!? She says this is too much...she marches out of the room and Kiya runs after her. Toasty says you know very well that alcohol is strictly not allowed in this house...all your intentions are clear before me now...I'll have to tell Pitaji now. Kiya thinks to herself that if Toasty tells Pitaji, I'll lose my dad's property...she pleads Toasty not to tell PItaji and that she will change herself. Toasty says what all will you change? There's a saying...nature and the soul, both go together (Praan aur prakriti saath saath chalte hain). Kiya says I didn't understand the meaning of prakriti but I understand what praan is, which won't be in you anymore. Toasty asks meaning? Kiya shoves Toasty and Toasty falls down the stairs screaming out "TEJ!!" She falls unconscious on the landing. (I'm going to kill Kiya 😡)
Pre-Cap: Tej is running towards Toasty from his room calling out to Pashu and Pitaji saying look what's happened to Toasty! He sees Kiya and angrily goes toward her saying what have you done!? How are you just standing there!? Listen to me...if anything happens to my Toasty, I won't leave you!! (😍 Haaaiii...I love protective Tej...and in this case he's murderous too...chalo Tej...hum saath saath Kiya ko mitaa denge, ab main tumhe apne full support dehti hoon!) He starts yelling I'll kill you! I'll kill you 👏 and Pashu pulls him back down the stairs.
