Yeh raha aaj ka update...*Sigh* Lagta hain nayi saal ki shuruat se hi CVs want me to pull out my hair...Pitaji with his zidd and Ved not even opening his mouth to say anything...he's finally realizing himself and his love...and when he's bringing so much change into his life, can't he become a little stronger and fight for what he wants...I hope Ved speaks up for himself next time the discussion comes around (which it seems it will from the looks of the precap) and fights against the odds to marry Nitika just like Tej had to last year to marry Toasty. Pyaar kiya toh darna kya? 😆 Enough of my bakwaas...on to the update 😛
Written Update: January 3rd, 2012
Part 1:
Pitaji starts talking about how he is so happy with Ved's change and how it seems like his thinking has changed and he wants to live life like his other brothers...he has a new josh to his life. Dadaji says you are right and Ved's change in thinking and feelings has brought on this change...he reveals to Pitaji that Ved has fallen in love with Nitika. Pitaji is shocked and says Ved has fallen in love!? Dadaji tells him that the change he is seeing in Ved is because of that...he tells the whole situation to Pitaji and says bas, we were just waiting for you to come back.
Ved is praying while sitting cross-legged on the sofa. Kia come down to the hall in a mini dress and wonders where everyone is. She says excuse me to Ved and Ved looks over at her and then turns back around and says Ram Ram Ram Ram Ram. She says what? He asks what are you doing like this...wearing these kinds of clothes!? Kia says haan, I want to go to the nightclub...can you tell me where the nearest nightclub is? Ved asks you want to go out at this time!? Kia says yeah... I was getting so suffocated in the village...there's no nightlife there! I want to breathe freely here in Mumbai and I heard this city never sleeps so can you tell me if there is a good nightclub nearby? Ved gives her disgusted looks. He says no one from our house goes to such places. Kia says are you serious!? Ved gets up and walks away...Kia rolls her eyes and is about to walk out when Malti calls to her. She asks her if she is going somewhere? Kia says nightclub...Malti says this late at night? Kia says unfortunately nightclubs only run at night. Malti says have you asked Pitaji? Kia says no...Malti says unfortunately no one can go out at this time without asking Pitaji..but if you want to go you can...Pitaji will get angry though...look Kia, if you're getting bored, Toasty and I can come to your room and we can play Antakshari, Dum charades, or I can sing a bhajan for you. (Umm...he's older than Tej and Tej is married and took the decision to marry on his own too :/...after all kab tak will they not take their own decisions :/ Didn't you take your own decisions once you got married to Vimla?...Pitaji is irritating me right now >.<) Ved says no Pitaji it is nothing like that (Someone tell him to be a man!! >.<) Tej marches in from the hall and asks what is it Pitaji? with the whole army following behind him. Pashu say Malti was telling us that there was an argument going on over Ved's marriage...Pitaji says so she told you all? So now tell me what is all this going on behind my back? Everyone shares looks at each other. He asks Ved what is all this? Pashu says this all happened when you weren't at home, we didn't do anything behind your back. Pitaji says I'm asking Ved...Ved? Ved is unable to form any words. Tej steps in and says he isn't able to say anything, that is why we...PItaji interrupts and says why? Can he not say two words for his love? Toasty steps in then and says Pitaji, Ved bhaiya never thought about going against you. Pitaji stands up and says for the last time I will say that I'm only speaking to Ved...Ved, I don't want to argue over what has happened...I will only say that your shaadi will happen to Kia, I have promised Kishore.
Ved walks out and Tej says Ved bhaiya! Pitaji at least listen...Pitaji interrupts Tej again and says I don't want to listen to anything. Out in the hallway Ved sits in front of God and asks why do you take such difficult tests of your devotees? Why not enemies? At least your devotees always remember you. How will I get out of this mess?
Back in the room, Tej gets into fighting mode (at least he and Pashu are good at this) and says PItaji, I'm not arguing with you...I'm just saying that I know that you've given a promise. Meanwhile, Toasty leaves the room. Tej continues and says but Ved bhaiya is the one that has fallen in love with Nitika...I just want to ask you that if I had the right to get married to the girl that I fell in love with,why not Ved bhaiya? 👏 (Tere muh mein ghee shakkar, mere jaanu...you spoke my exact argument! It's unfair to Ved if he is being forced to marry Kia when Tej was able to have a love marriage.) Dadaji says Chedi beta and seems to be about to explain that Tej is right but Pitaji steps in and says whatever I said is what will happen. Pashu and Malti share tense looks...Prachin and Gyaan look sad...Tej looks like he's about to break something out of anger.
Part 2:
Ved is still in front of the pooja space, remembering Nitika. Nitika calls him then and asks him what he is doing...he says remembering God. She says why? You didn't remember me? He says while remembering you, I remembered God. She says Pitaji must have come back right? How is he? Ved remembers what Pitaji said and tells Nitika that I have to tell you something important. Toasty comes in front of him and motions to him to stop...he covers the mic of the phone and asks Toasty why? Toasty says not now bhaiya, please not now. Ved gets back on the phone and says Dadaji is calling me, I'll talk to you later...Nitika tells him she'll be waiting and to please remember to call.
The whole army reforms a battle line next to Toasty 😆 and Ved asks Toasty why she stopped him. He says I have to tell her this or she will be hurt. Toasty says she will be more hurt by this news...she's gone through a lot in life and this one moment of happiness for her and you want to ruin it by telling her this. Ved says what else can I do? Didn't you hear what Pitaji said? Toasty says why are you getting so negative? We're all with you and we'll find a way out of this. Right? Everyone agrees and says we're with you! Pashu tells him not to worry and if need be, I will become the old Pashu again 🤣 (Oh please do...this is the time when we actually need you to give your snide remarks and arguments to Pitaji) Toasty says there's no need for that bhaiya...You know PItaji is stubborn at first but once we slowly make him realize, and he will slowly agree. Tej says we all are forgetting something..that we all have a big weapon. Everyone asks what? Tej says voting 👏 (Tu mera herooo 🤣 Someone get the chits and the bowl...I say voting starts NOW!! Don't wait for the tension to rise! Vaise...I thought voting was outlawed in the C house after Toasty got kicked out because of it... 😆) Everyone is like YEAH!!! Tej say and if we get to the voting, then all the votes will go in your favor. Malti says even Dadaji! Pashu says Ved, don't worry...everything will be fine. Ved looks at God pleadingly.
Part 3:
The Chaturs minus Pitaji and Pashu and minus the unwanted guest are at the dining table for breakfast. Prachin asks if anyone has talked to Pitaji today? Tej says no, not yet...Pashu bhaiya went with him this morning so that on the way he can try to make him understand. Malti asks Toasty, Kia hasn't come for breakfast yet? Toasty says she's still sleeping. Tej says Ved bhaiya, you haven't eaten your breakfast yet...Ved says he's not hungry...Dadaji says why are you so tensed? I'm still alive! (Haan Dadaji, use your power of being the eldest in the house! Sab problem ghayab phir 😉) Tej says we are all with you! Gyaan says yeah, don't take any tension...we'll grab Pitaji's feet and won't let go until he lets you get married to Nitika bhabhi. Prachin says or we'll do a hunger strike. Toasty says there is no need for that (Come on Toasty...you're killing all the fun 😆) She says bhaiya, I'm sure there will be some kind of positive solution to this problem.
Kia comes into the dining room then and Toasty says good morning to her. Gyaan mutters here comes the solution. And Toasty whispers Gyaan, strictly. Kia sits down with a box of bran cereal and milk and everyone watches her with confused looks. Malti asks what have you brought? Kia says I've brought this from London...Indian food doesn't suit me, especially oily parathas. Anyone want a bite? Everyone denies.
Kia says well when I was walking in, it sounded like you all were discussing some problem. If you don't mind, can you tell me what the problem is? Malti is about to say something but Tej cuts in and says nahin nahin, there's no problem, no big, important matter...with an annoyed look on his face. Toasty looks at him and loudly says hain...there is a big matter. Tej says Toasty but Toasty says Tej, Kia is a part of our family now and she should also know what is going on in our family. It's important to know her thoughts as well. Tej just stares at her and Toasty gives him a stern, ishaara vaala look. Kia says its ok if you don't want to share...Toasty says no, it's important for you to know...actually Ved bhaiya loves a girl and wants to get married to her...Kia asks what the problem is...Prachin says you...Kia says what?...Toasty says matlab, we want to know what you think, right Prachin? Kia wonders what is going on? Toasty tells her everything. Kia says I'm not going to get married...I don't even want to stay in India...I want to go to London and live life the way I want to. Everyone starts laughing and she asks why everyone is laughing. Dadaji says you don't know what a big weight you've taken off our shoulder. Tej says all our problems were solved just sitting here...neither does the boy want to get married to the girl nor does the girl want to get married to the boy, so why are we taking tension!? Malti says Ab meeya biwi nahin raazi, toh shaadi kya karaya kaazi? Kia says well it looks like I've solved your problems, congratulations and enjoy your breakfast...and she leaves to her room. Everyone cheers and thanks Kia...the brothers get up and hug Ved.
Pre-Cap: Kia is with her lawyer and wondering when she will get her inheritance money from her father's will...the lawyer says according to the will, she won't get it until she gets married to the boy of her legal guardian's choice, meaning Chedi, and the marriage has to last at least a year.
