While everyone is busy defending Toasty for cheating Tej in the interest of family; why is no one blaming Malti for not curbing Pashu?

Today for the first time Malti spoke against Pashu and scolded him for not listening to anyone. Why did she not speak earlier? If Malti had spoken earlier, then maybe this competition and all the ensuing nonsense would not have occurred.

If Toasty is not to blame for cheating Tej, then Malti is to blame for not stopping Pashu. If Malti is right to have only lightly remonstrated with Pashu, then Toasty is wrong for cheating. Make up your minds forum. One of the Bahus is definitely in dock for the current mess. Who are you going to blame - Malti or Toasty?

None. Everyone did what the situation, circumstances, emotions and their understanding of responsibilities made them do and they were all very true to their character as seen so far. We just have to relax, sit back and enjoy their story as it unfolds in every episode. The day it stops appealing to us, we stop watching it.

Ahh but I enjoy unravelling the serial on the forum here, almost as much as I enjoy watching it. Seriously if I could not discuss it or banter about it with friends I would give up watching it. LOL

So now c'mon don't play Miss India and give a Mother Teresa answer, pick one :)

:)
I really can't pick one. I think both did their best.

If you ask me to pick between Pashu and Tej then I'll pick Tej because I feel he was a better sport, more focused on promoting his own business rather than spying on Pashu's shop sales and techniques and got a well deserved win at the end.

At least at this stage, I really can't say what babuji, pitaji, Ved or anyone else could have done differently because according to me they were very true to their character and I wouldn't want to change the characters because that would mean asking to change the show which I love so much and can't afford to spoil all the fun it brings...

I think Malti did try to be neutral to some point and she thought Tej is losing by that difference so she went to buy a saree at Tej's shop so she did kind of favor Tej instead of her husband.

One thing i dont get it, which is very practical is that why was toasty counting money all by herself. i am sure malti can count numbers.. and they should have both been responsible to count. that would have been fair.

or next thing you know, it may be the father's plan to give it to toasty cuz he knows she would do the 'right' thing.

the competition was wrong in the first place.. how can the father not think that this could lead to a fight between the two brothers.

my point of view, toasty is doing the right thing for the family, but in real life, or if you be practical, i think the dad and the dadaji should have more sense to make those decisions and do all the sacrifices to keep the family unity, not a young bahu.

Why is anyone even defending Toasty? What she did was completely wrong. Pashu was right in saying she thinks of herself as too mahaan. What was the need to manipulate the accounts if she's so good?
She has not once supported Tej in his business so I didn't think she had any right to do that to him.
Same with Malti - although she did support Pashu, she also just kept praising Tej. But somehow I felt compared to Toasty, she did a great job standing by her hubby - but I don't understand whats up with these two and not supporting their husbands when they need them most.
They're both the same - I blame them both but I was starting to dislike Toasty's behaviour towards Tej more than Malti being quiet all the time.

malti alaways did try to admonish pashu, she tried to ensure that the competetion doesnt get home, but malti knows how to shut her trap while our mahan toasty is best when it comes to speaking and trying to get what others are feeling, why are they feeling and removing their hurt, awesome qualities and lovely human being, but in this scenario as a wife wrong , as her character { prachin incident : her bashan of such ka saath, seperation incident : will come if tej comes as it is becox of him have rishta with you all, nikita rajan incident : rajan doesnt support you , a relation is made if two ppl are there and respect each other , her supporting malti after finding sach that a man needs his wife, family is never just enuff} in all theses she stood for right and i loved her, but ever since the competetion started i saw a new face, where for her the family is more important, ( always was never having time for tej, running to do chores rather than sit with him , i know a v motherly person but still tej toasty interactions are a treat to watch and i always wanted more😆) but i saw a lil acidic side, her taunts ,her belief ( if the husband is on the wrong path the wife should not support him in it rather makehim see right) , her total lack of support ( malti did support both equally but in the room she did give moral encouragement to her hubby too, irrespective of belittling tej, toasty could have done the same), her actual happiness ( used to make happy face when tej upset remeber when trying to find finance, clients)
how on earth can she refuse to respect her husbands even once ?? malti respects pashu whereas for toasty its like well its just tej i will make him see my point usku mana lu gi etc tej hi galat hai, how can bare bhayyia bhi worng after all he is elder, yet she did assume him to be worng in his approach of malti and made the fisrt move , it got better but had she the sense she could have asked ved too, but running ahead she had no thought of ved intially ( nor did the famnily except pitaji👏) i find her lacknig here alot. she doesnt know that one can be a support while not backbiting others. simply to show that woh theek ha you are making an issue out of it can be hurtful ( remeber tej in sudhas home as soon as she got to know the issue she said aray to kia hua tum ego pe kyu lehere hu, she could have calmed him down shown her belief and then maybe get her way)
i will come to my final point, that even malti had pointed out that how come you decide that where the happiness lies ( prachin incident, she was wrong though but the point was right) toastys major flaw, what i see is right and good for ppl only that is true, there simply cant be any other way. yes she has been proved right many times, i guess that just went to her head, or maybe the task was too much on her, pitaji shouldnt have tested her, why couldbnt dadji do the conting or both brothers togheter with pitaji why put the wife of one husband in that position, its the continous putting toasty on pedastel that made her do this i guess, but when she always used to say bhagwan acha hi karega then why didnt she had the guts to accpet bhagwan wish and tejs win.
i would have forgiven her had she talked it with tej and shown how proud she was of him , rejoice in his happiness and then ask for pashus win ( if she really did see the good in it ) and leave it at tejs decison. i would have stood up and appluaded her. but going behind the back simply becoz she couldnt see what could happen t(here is no gurantee that pitaji would have let pashu leave)
she went behind her husband back.
so for me it is toasty n only only toasty at fault. at some level even pitaji for givng her this task and the decison to have only one shop[. bhai ppl branch out your revenvue was growing ,it could have been good too to keep two shps, or best he could have told tej will supply you money but dont open saree shop.
but then there wouldnt be any story i guess😆

TOasty risked her marriage to make things better for the family...Stupid mahaan decision...If father created this competition than let him sit there and count money...Do not involve bahu in this stupidity...Malti did try stopping Pashu and knock some sense into him more than one...But she was not able to...Toasty simply takes Tej for granted as she believes she can talk to him and convince him of anything..
Edited: Malti's name with Toasty...Boo boo

I think the time for Toasty's realization is still not at hand. She has been looking for him and worried about him, but not once have they shown her regretting what she did to him. Woefully I've lost hopes for this serial and wait for Toasty to turn into another one of those Mahaan Sacrificing Bahus (MSBs).
