I know today the best thing is to lead an independant life where there is no interferences from anyone, but if you want to live in a joint family you have to think in a different manner.
If I was there in Toasty's situation, i would have done the same thing.

i dont agree with it, what did she sacrifice? it is easier to scarifice if it doesnt directly concern you, throughout she was more concerned with pashus than tejs, the india nculture must also say something about being a wife too eh? a different manner would have been maybe talking to tej sharing her thoughts and saying pls let him have the win and i am very proud of you you have the ablility and u will win anywhere. if he would have agreed thats a scarifice, this is plain cheating not sacrifice anywhere.
i agree in joint you have to move with all, but i dont ike the trend of inidan soaps when they show the wife placing the family above the hubby, sure you love the family but girl show some repsect for the person you got the family from??
yes she is an exceptionally loving person who made a house a home but she is shown too mahan , for her its more important that family is happy than her husband, or mom dad. she needs a jolt to realise she is after all a mere human and cant be always right. similary pashu needs to get out of the cynical victim approach as he is the lone fighter
