With all due respect to your grandmother, I feel maybe that's the problem today, people stop watching epics. Yes it is fictional to EXPECT but it's not fictional to see😳

You said a serial should not be teaching us. I respect your opinion. I firmly believe we learn from everything. Messages and lessons come in their various forms as blessings, in my opinion, and we can receive them from anywhere. TV may be fiction, but every fiction comes from some idea that originally stemmed from reality, even if it was 1%. Like you said why would you get gyan from Toasty, truth is gyan is gyan and it doesn't change, so if that is true it can be received from anywhere.

I agree overdose of anything is bad, but I don't see any overdose here..

Hope I don't sound like Toasty to you 😛

No you do not sound like Toasty.. You are right that everything can teach us. However, this has to be an inidrect outcome and not the sole aim of the serial. When SBS was doing good.. people can take learning from there as well but the sole aim of the serial was not to preach and preach.. But for last couple of months.. whenever Toasty opens mouth .. she only delivers lecture and that is why it has become a speech of a spiritual baba and not an entertainment soap anymore.

I'm not sure...I think you should try and take it more as an advise, like people who give advise always for the betterment of others. Maybe then it'll change the way you see it.

Ps. believe it or not, spiritual baba's don't always have the gyan we need. one doesn't need to become a baba to be a gyaani 😉

hm right.. but I can not take advice about life from a just college passout - to give advice you have to have experience..how much life she has seen!!anyway nice to discuss this with you without argument and yes I like the Toasty that I saw during their honeymoon period.. she is sweet and adorable.. and better suits in that role..

have you seen the movie "the curious case of benjamin button"?

👏👏This is why i love posting here..there is always a super healthy discussion about everything wihtout a world war 3!! Thanks to you all for being so mature about your pov's!.🥳

Now to the topic..I so think, Toasty's view points, most of the time are bang on accurate, only i do not agree with her way of implementing them. Maltis' character, however negative it was, the only thing i like, is, its actually pretty close to reality..and Malti's insecurities are portrayed well. Sometimes I do feel, Toasty trying to guide Malti rightly becomes wrong, when she starts to patronize her. Like not giving money to Prachin, well the first time Prachin had asked Toasty money, she had given it to him right? And this was the first time Prachin was asking Malti, I think if toasty had told malti the incident she witnessed in college, Malti would have sided with her and helped her. Now when the truth comes out, Malti will again be made felt like she did the wrong by trusting Prachin, no? That is what I dont like..time and time again portraying Malti as incompetent of making thr right decision and Toasty being the do-gooder all the time..is that realistic? No..though this is only a serial, the only reason i expect it to be any better or closer to reality is because the concept is pretty close to reality...

adios peeps..

Pressing remote button is escapist.

it is ok for me to be escapist.now a days i use remote very frequent during 10.00 to 10.30.
i dont have any attachment to any serial or any channel.i am common viewer.i want pure entertainment in return of my precious time.

p.s-i almost skipped entire England tour of india.😆
i am not able to watch match when india looses continuously without fight.🤢
