I don't blame her for divorcing Pashu before, and I won't blame her if she tries to leave him again.

Has Pashupati Nath Chaturvedi ever been loving towards his wife? Has he ever openly expressed his love even once? Toasty survived in that male household ONLY because Tej supported her through thick and thin. They might have had their differences and disagreements, but he is generally affectionate, supportive and respectful. Toasty had it easy because of such a wonderful husband.

Unlike Malti who is stuck with Mr Pashu Bhaiya. He has NEVER stood up for his wife. On the contrary, he doesn't leave any stones unturned to insult her. I felt like slapping him when he said, "Tumne Banayi Hai? Is liye Toasty jaisa swad nahin!" JACKASS!!!!!

Malti doesn't want him to make melodramatic proclamations of his love. But is it too much to expect some consideration from your life partner?
That said, let me also say that I LOVE the actor who is portraying Pashu, but his CHARACTER is egoistic, heartless and ANNOYING! No woman can put up with such a man.

Sorry I disagree

Tej didn't always support her...it was Toasty's nature that kept her going to be honest. Many many times some one or another was against her and it took her a very long time to win everybody's trust and love.

I agree Pashu shouldn't have said that about the food, because that's just setting a seed in for rivalry

Pashu should have asked who made a specific dish b4 giving credit to someone else..Toasty...These kind of nonsense feeds rivalry and enimocity...When there are more than one woman in household things to remember..
Muhfat Sudha does not need to compare and talk abt malti like that to her daughter..It creates issue between Malti and Toasty..
Toasty going on and on abt Tej, Her mom, Nitika etc liking Malti's dish...Malti is not a kid where she needs pacifying..
This show is turning in to Piyaka ghar with Rimjim, Sath Phere with Saloni, YMGGK with Abha..No one can match upto these women... No two people are same..Everyone has something to offer..Malti is not Toasty or vice a versa...Appreciate each for what they bring to the family and give them due credit and respect..

Yes, there were times when Tej didn't support her, but he is at least apologetic afterwards.

Pashu is useless

I think Toasty had patience and preservance that she was able to make a room for herself in that place without anyone's support. Tej changes his color and never supported toasty when she needed him. Just like Toasty had made a place in everyone's heart, malti should do the same.
Instead of feeling sad or pity, malti should stand on the truth and see how wonderful toasty is and how she made Chatur's house as home. After all the damages she had done, I think she needs to learn to be accepted by all family members and only time will tell if she will make a room in everyone's heart or she will hold bitterness in her heart.

I agree and disagree with some of the comments. Agree that Malti has to see the bigger picture and not have any rivalry or jealousy feeling towards Toasty since she was the one who brought her back to the house. At the same time she wants everyone to like her for which she is desperate.
I would blame Pashu in two circumstances. One, during dinner when he critises her dish and second when she made special tea for him in the morning and he still drank the tea made by Toasty. What an Idiot ! Atleast he could have told her in private not to make anything special instead of snubbing her like that in front of everybody.
Probably Toasty has to make the men understand that they need to appreciate Malti a bit more.

Come on, people. I agree that Tej hasn't supported her in couple of special situations, but he has also displayed his love in various ways - by going against the entire family to stand by her decision to continue teaching at the school, by selling his watch to buy a gift for HER friend, by requesting his dad to give Toasty some allowance money so she could take care of her own needs, by gifting her saris, by whispering "I LOVE YOU" . Without his affection, no way could Toasty have turned the 7-men house into her home, not even if she were a saint!!!!!!!!

I believe that it is very important for a spouse to openly confess his love for his wife, to let her know that he respects her. At the very least, be considerate towards her. Pashu GIVES NOTHING, but expects Malti's obedience and subservience forever!

Instead of insulting her at the dining table, why not encourage her efforts to do something for the family? Perhaps her food is not as delicious as Toasty's, but how can spouse snub his wife so openly and SERIOUSLY? Why can;t he just drink the tea she made for him, then take her aside and explain that while he appreciates her gesture, it is also rude to brew a cup of 'special' tea just for him. Such little steps would resonate much better with Malti...right now, I don't blame her for those evil thoughts against Toasty! Pashu is the catalyst for all that negativity!

Krangara I agree with both your posts..
Besides I do not see Malti as desperate as someone mentioned abv...She is not looking for attention...But she is looking for acknowledgement and credit where it is due..Trying to make her own place in the family..She know she has a uphill battle in establishing herself in this family..atleast Pashu her supposed to be husband could give her encouragement and not insult her...He is typical MCP...Where Tej may have gone against Toasty once or twice but no matter what he has lovingly supported her most of the time..
if I were Malti I would not even worry abt rivalry or anything..Just do my best to make my place ad let jerks worry abt doing Toasty naara..She herself had to work hard in male dominating home...God has her own way of making it fair...Do you best and leave the rest 😃
