What is the significance of Toasty saying to bring Malti back?

I have many questions on this.

When Malti came to Chatur house and admitted her faults and talked about Toasty's innocence, Dadaji made a very important comment. He said that Malti has won and we have lost (can't remember the exact words, but it was something like that)

Then there was a scene where they showed Pashu looking at the marriage album also.

But no one from Chathurs side said anything about bringing back Malti even though they realized that she was truly regretting her old actions.

But for Toasty, who was innocent, everybody wanted to bring her back.

Does this mean that Chatur will forgive others for their innocence but not for their pachtawa (regretting)?

Your thoughts...I have several ideas about this, but would like to see your thoughts before I give my 2 cents worth...😊

agree wif u ..yaa wen malthi said toasty was innocent...and dadaji was saying summin like that ..and also pashu was watching the albums etc...
yh agree so they bring bac toasty so y cant they now bringbac malthi also...yh agree wif.u..
i hope they bring her bac also yaar ...

I think its good and expected that Toasty wants her back. Malti had a real growth in character plus her and Toasty are friends, its a good thing for the family. I Dadaji, Ved want her back, Prachin, Gyan are neutral, Tej and Pitaji don't cause of all the pain she caused. Pashu, he wants her back but is to afraid to say it. Remember when he wanted to talk to her by herself during the case.

Toasty as a women, has the instinct and can see Pashu true happiness is with Malti. Pashu also had many dreams when he married her. He just doesn't know how to be with a women, as he spent his whole life working for his family. Malti respects him too. They are both old school like that. I think Malti deserves it. She could have gone through and ruined the Chaturs but instead she helped in.

Plus Chaturs need a second bahu. I just hope with Malti there are no problems and the family still stays as one and remains cute, funny and lovable.

The way I interpret it is(& u can call my logic twisted),

- Toasty is helping the Chaturs grow as individuals too, helping them to let go of past bitterness so that they can openly trust other females in the world.

- She wouldnt have been there in the first place if Malti had not spoken up when she did, so she got a second chance, no matter if it was her right to stay there in the first place. She now wants the Chaturs to give Malti a second chance too...esp now that Malti has openly confessed how naive she was to begin with. significance in this pt: as u posted, if one regrets one's action, then it is reasonable to forgive...

-Why should the daughter be punished bcoz of mom's actions, especially when the daughter openly condemns of the latter's actions now? If need be, punish the offender & the offence not the entire kin!

Did I get too psychological & deep there...sorry...!!😳

It is not easy for Chaturs to bring Malti back. It is not easy for them to forget what they have suffered:

Dadaji being paralysed

Pitaji/Pashu dragged to police station

Ved facing charge of molestation

False charge lending and not repaying money

these are too much and can only be expected if there is a dowry case, phycial assault or even verbal assault. However they had none of this and Malti/her mom 's action was outrageous.

It would need lot of time for them to forget this.

How would Ved look upto her bhabi who charged him with molestation and who he used to treat like his mother?

Easier said done.

well toasty said that she wants all of them to be like before according to me that was a big mistake - agree with tej on that but on the other hand i think she wants them to know how a lady changes the house so in that she will say i need a help and brings malti up.

on the other hand pashu knew somehow that he never understood malti coz at some point he was at fault so he will be in to bring malti back.

castorphy will they be able to forget all that happened - why not when malti can forget toasty can forgive why not them

but then the serial will take another turn as if they bring malti back there is a possiblity these show will then be like other serial where women fight family separate other wise what other topic can come up

so far everything is perfectly fine until toasty will speak about malti

i think malti deserves a 2nd chance...but what about the she devil who had an instant heart attack and recovery...

as long as she is in mumbai, there is no hope. She has to go back and devious that she is, she is going to find other ways to interfere...

so not sure...how this will work for now...

Well, they have been burnt badly by Malti and her moms behavior. All the hurts she gave them really left them bitter for their life. Toasty on the other hand was always hurt by them and she took everything in her stride and still thought of their well being and everyone was well aware of that. Hence they could easiy forgive her and they all guininely missed her and wanted her to be back. For Malti, like dadaji and Tej said its going to be an uphill task. But you can she that dadaji readily supported Toasty to bring Malti back.

If anyone remembers my comment about Pashu holding their wedding album and thinking of the past and saying even Malti has changed but he couldn't. Their is a faint smell of forgiveness there. He does care for her and Ved was already saying that who will take care of Malti now that she has withdrawn the case.
