hmmm not xcatly.. xcept de simplicity.. sgp is quite differnt..its abt a rich gurl goin into a joint family😛..so i dun think its actually inspired from there.. abt de BG i agree they do copy the BGM.. which is unfair😔

Anu... I am not to sure if its inspired from SGP cause sony did have a simple show before with simple actors which was very realistic.. infact I was a mod for the forum too.. the show Sukh By Chance..

Dude, I totally had a SGP deja vu moment watching this show last week too! *high fives*

I noticed the background music too! haha At first I was like, now where have I heard this before? 😆 It was bugging me for a while too till I finally figured it out! 😆 That music def. makes me feel like I'm watching SGP. lol

Even the Toasty (heyyy it's Sukrit! :P) and her two friends thing in the beginning episodes was reminding me of Suhana and her Sulli-Sudi's! 😆 And the way Toasty was fixing Tej's shirt and all, and dantoing him for not having a good dressing sense? Suhana-Ishaan deja vu anyone? 😆

And Tej and his brothers were again reminding me of Elesh and Inder and all! 😆

Well if they're gonna be inspired from SGP, I don't mind as long as they do it well. :P 😆

And I still can't decide whether I like this show or not...:S 😆 Sometimes I think ki it's good and lighthearted timpass enough...but other times I just get bored of the fattu type ke dialogues they sometimes have! :P 😆 And that dhoodh thing is irritating me a bit! 😆 I watch this on TV so I can't even FF it! :( 😆

I still wanna give it a chance though cuz I'm very curious also to see what they do when Toasty officially joins that crazy family! 😆 The Satte Pe Satta/Hulchul thing is kinda intriguing too. 😆

O and btw, how hilarious did you find the explanation for Toasty's name! I was toh 🤣

Ohhh I loved SBC!! 😆 I actually had a deja vu of SBC when I first saw SGP too! 😆

The Dheeraj character from SBC was so much like Elesh! Even some of the other characters/relationships in SGP are similar to SBC I remember thinking at that time.

But that was still a completely different story. This one seems to be similar in the sense that the girl marries into this crazy family and has to adjust/make new relationships there. Plus of course the music like Anu mentioned too really gives that SGP wali feeling while you're watching. lol

But I'm all for more family shows like these! I love these kinds of shows actually! 😆 👍🏼

LOL When Anu told me this I was all "🤣" Then I saw Tej telling this to his younger brother Gyan? I burst out laughing. I mean what kinda nickname is THAT?! 😆

But yeah even I've started finding the doodh issue irritating.. 😆 and yes yes, his brother's interactions so remind me of Inder, Elesh and their madness! 😆 Thank god Tej isn't as bhondu as Ishaan though! 😆

About the doodh thing, I think it's over now thank God! 😆 But it was kinda cool what came out as a result of it. The whole naukrani leaving because she couldn't survive in that household! 😆 I guess Toasty's mom's right about her fear then! lol

O yeah I like Tej as of now too. Actually the show is really growing on me now. I'm liking it a lot now actually! 😆 Esp. since this is like the only show I watch these days. lol Taking a break from the other two shows I used to watch- LTL and SGP! 😆

But yeah the characters of this show are developing nicely! I like how it's realistic. I actually find it MORE realistic than SGP in a way you know? ...I'm hoping you know. 😆 Cuz I don't know how to explain this thought. 😆

It's a good timepass as of now. Hoping it stays that way. I think it will...being a sony show it'll probably be consistent since it will prob. have a short life. I like all the actors too. My favs so far is that smallest brother of Tej's. Aww he's really adorable. 😆 I like his equation with Tej. :)

And Toasty's parents are pretty realistic, simple and relatable too. Toasty's interactions with her friends too are pretty realistic I find. Warna usually they show the friends of main leads as being dumb or avin se sidekicks types. 😆

Tej and Toasty have a pretty good eqauation with each other too, despite the sometimes cheesy lines they get. 😛 😆

Anyways, can't wait to see today's episode. It will air here in about an hour. Seriously this is like the only show these days I actually look forward to watching with my family and stuff. 😆

@Pallo: Yeah I got MAJOR SGP deja vu cuz of the bg music...it's the exact one they play in the lighter scenes....but obviously the show is different story-wise....that was never my point anyways....in general, these simplistic treatment waale family shows are very rare on TV....for SBS, I'm liking the whole Satte pe Satta inspired funda of how this one woman will have to enter a house of seven men and the kind of drama/situations that will make for....lol

Sometimes the show is slow and tends to drag....but some epis are pretty good...loved the Thursday epi....Toasty's mom was HILARIOUS at the sari shop....haha....so over excited and trying to find out everything she can about the Shrivastav brothers and why they never got married....lol.....and even the voting scene was good.....the week ended on a high note after some silly dragging over the stolen milk issue.

@ Bold: Yep I like that whole aspect too! The story also has it's Hulchul inspired moments too waisse. WIth the babuji character and the one brother who's so religious and all. 😆 Seems like a mix of both these stories. Very curious to see how the drama unfolds with this concept! Should be interesting for sure!

Yeahhh the dragging part was always what made me re-evaluate whether I wanna continue with the show...I think I watch new shows with a very skeptical/close mind now. *reflective muh* lol...anyways, but then there's always some sort of entertaining aspect which keeps me tuned in I guess. 😆

O man Toasty's mom was hilarious in the sari shop! LMAO at her asking the dude if he's married and all! 😆 I think they left a good impression on her for sure. 😆 She seemed impressed with the way they were doing all the 'khatir-daari' and all too. 😆

It's funny how these guys own a sari shop too. haha This family seems to be like the typical 'baniye' business man types. Not very educated and all also. Atleast not the older half of the family...which makes them kind of rigid/traditional also. It's very realistic too cuz there's lot's of people like that in India. So that contrasted with the educated/open minded family of Toasty's is interesting too I think.

O yeah and that 'gupt mardaan' LOL...can't even pronounce this word....that was shown well too. Yep that was def. a good place to end for the week to keep people speculating lol. Although we know it's going to be a yes since otherwise the story won't be moving ahead. 😆 I wonder who said yes though. Maybe all the younger half of the family....or maybe Babuji finally relented too...lol. They're quite a crazy/interesting family. 😆
