Sunday night therez gonna be a Diwali Special programme on Star Plus – 'Star Mahotsava'. SBS showed the exclusive clips of the event.

On the sets of 'Santaan'
The story of Santaan (new show on Star Plus) is inspired from the movie Baghban. SBS went to the sets of this show. All characters are young rite now but the serial will soon take a leap (in the 15th episode). The scene in which the mother is teaching her son a poem for his interview in school is being shot. Takes quite a lot to time shoot it..and finally the director gives ok signal! 😆 Then the father enters and gives tea to mom and 'thanda' to son..this too takes time!!
Diwakar Pundir who plays the father shres his thoughts with viewers..says that it feels good to play this character..but he gets less sleep. The actor playing mother tells about the story of the show.
Jjhoom India First Elimination
Jjhoom India people are amazing!!! How can they eliminate Apara Mehta in the very first round??!! Everyone knows that she is a singer..people have heard her singing on radio..then how can audience give her less votes?! 😛 SBS is sure that she will return in the show through wild card! 😛
Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan Recap
Serial Prithviraj Chauhan has recently taken leap and Anas Rashid has entered in the show as Prithvi. Prithvi is showing his valour against enemies. He warns Pasha to come and face him in the battlefield if he has guts. Though Prithvi has grown up, is fighting with enemies, saving villages and Neera and acting responsibly, yet he remembers Sanyogita, the love of his life. 😃 He still has memories of her..and desires to meet her. Flashback scenes! 😃
New Sanyogita has entered and a Prince Karan is coming to meet her (for marriage n all!) Vaishali still believes that Sanyogita loves only Prithviraj Chauhan and thus keeps on making plans to escape marriage with any other Prince / King. 😆
Best Part: Even after the serial has taken leap, Rajat Tokas fans get to see him on screen in flashback scenes very often. This should satisfy them a bit!!
Dance Reality Shows Recap

People are expressing their views on Rakhi..some find her entertaining..some find her a drame queen! Pooja is shown expressing her doubts over judgement method..and Rakhi this time answers her saying, "People use her to become hit; they can use her if they feel like, she is ready for being used."
Kashmera-Krushna eliminated. Kash leaves the sets of NB3 in fullto drama style!
~ Jhalak Dikhla Jaa
Sudha Chandran has been eliminated.
Shaimak and other judges disapprove of it. Even the contestants are feeling bad about it.
But Sudha and her choreographer accepted the truth..faced it boldly..and in the end gave a rocking performance! 👏
Musical Reality Shows Recap

The episode starts with the performance of Shaan and contestants on Om Shanti Om song. Deepika and Arjun Rampal came to the show for the promotion of Om Shanti Om.
Performances of all contestants were shown.
Harshit sings 'Darde Disco' and deepika comes to stage..she dances..and Harshit compliments her beauty saying that as soon as she came on stage uska "dimaag kharab ho gaya!" 😆 'Ma'am, you are very beautiful," said he.
Abhaas sings 'Wherez the party tonight'…and Arjun comes on stage..compliments him. Abhaas is Deepika's favorite. 👏
Ishmeet sings 'It's the time to disco'..is appretiated too!
Abhijeet is upset coz Toshi and Irfan are out..so no competition is left in his eyes. 😕
~ Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs
Boys sing 'masti bhare' songs and girls sing 'item numbers'. Sahil and Smita's performances were shown. Smita celebrated her Birthday on the sets!
Sahil got eliminated.
Kids are no less than elders…they have tough competition too..but the only difference is that they are innocent! (Well said! 👏)
