The supporting characters play a great role in making the show intersting

1,Gayathri- Clearly a victim of domestic violence. When the show started , she was shown as a vain, self centered individual more concerned about her own comforts than about the people around her. But there is heart of gold under that over made up exterior. Her attempt to do Karva chauth vrat for her husband, shows an unreciprocated love probably, still hidden within her soul. When she finally slapped Agastya, she proved that she does care for Vijay and is concerned about his state of mind. A caring sister , a cast away wife. Will we get to see Gayathri's love story?

2. The CMs wife- so far she has been shown as a loud, gaudy and garish woman, who values her place in the society and the power she has as the CMs wife. But within the glitz and glitter lies a shrewd and conniving mind and the speed with which she arranges for her daughter to be betrothed to Anant shows her to be as calculating as her husband . And it's clear she has a soft spot for her good for nothing brother. Looks like the CM has inherited him as his dowry😆

Indeed it is so nice to see the supporting characters coming into their own. Initially we only got to see Vijay and Prabhat as the central characters taking the story forward whilst the Naamdhaari family and CM's clan stayed in the background with minimal to do. Now we are gradually seeing the supporting characters having a say in the story as well with relatively meatier parts etched out for them.

Gayathri is a perfect example of how a person can be somewhat selfish or greedy for materialistic things yet not be completely evil. No matter what she loves her family and has stood by her brother in good and bad times. Her happiness over the idea of Vijay's marriage and the way she slapped Agstaya gives us a glimpse of her loving and caring heart! 😳

CM's wife is a drama queen. Period 🤪 She actually makes me pause and think that a mother can be like her too 😳 She is so unabashed in her views and ways of dealing with situations. Her brother is an amazing addition to the family, he cracks me up with his one liners and antics 🤣

Since we have already mentioned Saadhna earlier, I would like to mention that I really like Tejaswini! I hope she has an interesting role going forward.

I have started liking the Saale Saab. He is needed there to bring the CM and his snooty wife a notch down. H

3. Tejaswini- She is the quintessential ice queen- snobbish, arrogant , aloof and comfortable in that arrogance. She loves her brother but is there a bit of jealousy in there as well? She is the older of the two, but this being patriarchal society, it's Anant who is the Raja Saab while she is left in his shadows. In some scenes, it's clear that she looks on the CMs family with contempt and she is not entirely happy with Mandira and Anant's relationship but will tolerate it for her brother. Will someone be able to melt that frosty exterior and will love ever blossom in her heart? Now that would make an interesting side track

I thought I will restart this thread because I have to mention Vishaal
4. Vishaal the brother in law

The CM seems to have inherited this character as part of his dowry😆
He is completely clueless and charmless and on top of that has gone and fallen in love with the snobbish princess Tejaswini. He certainly doesn't think before he speaks and acts before he thinks. Amidst all the tense drama brought on by Mandira , he is providing some light relief and his ardent and naive pursuit of the princess , while cringe worthy is also quite hilarious. I wouldn't be surprised if , after Mandira is married to Anant, he persuades his sister to take his alliance to the Royal family

Thank you for bringing this topic back again for discussion.
I too think both Vishal aND Tejasvini's character will grow going forward, the reason being his one sided love and his sister's (CM's wife) greediness to bring more wealth in the family.
