Is This Fair?

ok........

i m very upset at wht hppnd to sum1 at the auditions....

ok....at the auditions at NY...ppl were called by numbers like 249-260 were called and a girl (i wont like to say who she is or anything until i know of sum opinions) was #249....so she was first....and tht is a reason to b a lil nervous....she was like crying abt her nervousness but before she was called she pulled everything together and was rdy to sing....however bein 1st made her a lil nervous but she still was very confident.........so she was called and she was gonna sing eli re eli from yaadein which i heard her sing brilliantly b4 she went up ....so she started to sing eli re eli yeh kaisi hai paheli, aisa vaisa kuch kyun hota hai saheli (idk the lyrics but they were rite) and she repeats tht line like it is repeated in the actual song...it was a lil rough at first but the whn she repeated the line u cud tell she was catchong on but...rite b4 she goes nice and high which u cud telll she was gonna rock it....the 1 judge says thank u, u may hv a seat!!!!!!!! and the ppl tht went nxt had a lil hesitant start too but each still got 5 minz....tht girl didnt even hv a 2 minz performancce...

Is this fair?

My points:

• She didnt get enough time to get comfortable with the mike....like others did.
• She was the youngest of all of the contestantsin her batch....she was 18......the rest were like 25-30
• It was based on only one person's opinion so you can't be like dependant on what only 1 person thinks.
• Some people were even asked to sing different songs when the judge wanted to know if the singer was capable.
• One girl who was nervous, started and then stopped but he still let her sing for 5 more minutes.

I am not mad that she didn't get in. I am mad that she didn't get enough time to sing her song as beautifully as i heard it.

I am not trying to be biased or anything. I think it IS, however a little UNFAIR.

Ohh man that is nerve racking..... but some1s gotta be first 😕 about the rest yea it wasnt fair that she didnt get alot of time like the rest but waht oculdu do 😕

see.......i dont care that she went first.....but she shud have gotten more time....like the others.....plus the reason im bringing up the fact of her being first is tht even tho she was 1st she didnt get as much time as othr ppl...and she rly shud hv gotten tht time....

like i dont mind that ppl got a lot of time and abt how they were......i care abt how the judge didnt give her as much time as the others

the thing is tht im just not mad at the ppl but im just saying she shud hv been equal to the ppl too....

I was not happy with the judges and how they treated the younger generation.
I think what happened to girl girl was unfair.
The judges should at least hear one verse. 😕

to be honest...i do feel bad because she didn't get as much time as others....i personally believe that they should have a time limit like 2 min per contestant or 4 min per contestant...but that can't work because some cities have more people than others....but on the other hand.....maybe the judge didn't see what he wanted in her...im sure she wasn't the only one that got less time....but in the end...he makes the decision...and with many people auditioning....even the judges make mistakes....i think they should have more than one judge....who was the judge btw??...

the judges SHOULD understand that if the person is first, then the judges should understand that nervousness will easily come in!..
i mean, they should at least put themselves in her shoes..

kmishra what u posted is something happening in every audition rounds...I know someone personally who faced the same when he went for voi auditions. Another girl i know faced the same in srgmp auditions....i hv a feeling contestants, atleast some r already selected. Auditions round are not 100% true as to what general public see.

I know production houses of some shows who give responsibility to some organisations for such selections...and with that go for auditions too. During auditions these organisations hv no role to play. but u will definitely find quite a few contestants from these musical organisations. Dont u think thats telling a lot, something i would refrain from penning down here!! 😊

no i completely understand...everyone should get the same amount of time...but in the end...its one judge.....nd soo many people....maybe he was agitated at something and he took it out on her and then cooled down and gave the others their time....it could have been anything....maybe she just gave him the wrong impression walking in....maybe hes just an A-hole...but in the end that is how it is...but to be fair like i said...they should have an allotted time of 2-5 minutes per person...and should only go over that time if the judge wants to hear more...

its sorta of like American Idol...except they don't insult you....some people sing for 2 minuted...others for 20 seconds....

but hey...im sure she was great...and she will have other chances...its all part of the process...you get thrown down...but you gotta get back up...lessons of life...it'll only make her stronger and try harder and in the end she will succeed....(sounds sort of corny now that i read it....but it wasn't meant to be...😊)
