see, singing wise - technicalities, voice expression etc...none of the other nominated songs beat sonu's songs. i am not even considering hr and lucky's one time wonders here. i am talking about other songs that were nominated along with sonu's and later on declared winners.

so, over all singing-wise, sonu scores over all of them but listening wise, they were not shabby either. they were all equally good compositions with good lyrics to boot. therefore, can't find fault with public for liking them a bit more than what sonu had. abhi agar gauri's choice award bana doh toh sirf sonu hee nominate ho aur sirf sonu hee jeetey...saal der saal...her ek saal 😃

oh, would have loved to see KK holding the curvaceous lady in black for his beautiful rendition " aakhon mein teri ajab-si "... it was about time . seriously he needs to get on board of SRGMP talent show . will surely fetch him some limelight like sonu and shaan. 😉

anyways shaan did a awesome job and sounded fresh !! so i am ok with it. sonu sounded just monotonous... 😛

I gotta agree with chatbuster on one thing...I do not understand the hype about this song. I'm a female too! But it just didn't appeal to me, at all. I loved Main Aggar Kahoon though.

At one point, "jab se..." was played over and over again on 89.3FM in NJ and the radio hosts were raving over it. I have hardly heard main agar kahoon on these stations. Maybe that's why I got hooked to "jab se tere naina". I used to literally wait in the car for the song to get over even when my destination had arrived. I haven't seen the movie, so haven't seen the towel scene unfortunately.

It's really unfortunate that he would need to seek limelight in order to win what he deseves, but you're probably right. Hope he does step out of the shadows...because his talent needs to be noticed.

How long has KK been around for? Sadly enough, I didn't even know him until last year, nor do I know how he looks like. What other songs has he sung?
