Smita had the Capability

When I heard her rendition on "Hare Rama Hare Krishna" I knew that her voice is mature enough to go as far as top 3.

But she put herself already so high in the beginning that Judges started expecting the same level of perfection every time. Where as all other young kids were singing less than perfect song but getting good grades. Smita was getting lot of comments which could have been negligible if sang by other young kids.

In recent episodes she sang songs while staying mostly nervous that Sonuji is watching very carefully and definitely will comment on something. Many times I have seen Sureshji gave her A+ and Sonuji gave her B+ for the same song. Sonuji will always have some comments for her.

Ultimately even though she had the capability, she could not rise up to public's eye.

I hope that she learns from this lesson and be a successful singer in future. God bless her.

Smita had problem with high notes. She should have selected some songs that suites her voice. Initially, age discrimination from judges put her into a tough scanner. Harsh criticism, wrong interpretation of her innocent appeal shattered her confidence. After that some people become overly critical /Jealous of this young girl.

She is a talented kid. I feel sorry for her that despite having potential she could not prove here. Hope in future she will be back with more determination.

I completely agree with u ..it seems like yesterday she mesmerised us with her rendition of "is deewane ladke ko koi samjhaye" ......Amir Khan complemented her so much along with the judges ..then came this extreme scrutiny ....

She chose tough songs ...and was scrutinised most ...i think her rendition of Morni Bagaa Maa with both voice modulations was excellent ..yes she did use falsetto in one or 2 places but was not out of sur IMO....

But I also witnessed last year's elimination of Monali and Antara in II2 and I know what Sonu's harsh criticisms can do to the girls ( mind U somehow it doesn't work with the boys bec he did the same thing to Sandy and Anuj several times ) ......

Well ..Hope Smita doesn't get demoralised and improves her few shortcomings in future ...she has the base , concept of sur taal , lovely voice and distinctive style ....she is definitely far more talented than at least 2 singers in the show who r still there ....

Smita followed the same pattern as Twinkle and Mauli did before her.They started on a very high level, and then failed to keep up the pace.

Smita has not picked up any of the advices given to her on this show,and that is the sad part.Had she paid closer attention to those "advices" and corrected them like Anamika,then she would have been in the top slot like Amir or Anamika.

She has a lot of problem at high notes.She should have chosen her songs wisely.

I would blame the judges to put her in situation like that.

😆 thats the most unique advise i am hearing being given to make up for falseto singing Pradarshak 😆

Poor Smita, I will miss her lovely smile.😕

She is a good singer, but I agree that her song selections has damaged her chances to qualify. But Results are all based on Public Voting, maybe not enough home support.😕

The thing that's nagging at the back of my mind is throughout some time she gave really bad preformances (even thought i thought she sang soniye really well) and now that last week she preformered quite well forreal she gets elminated 😕
