I too think that Amir will make the Top 3...and he deserves it....On a pure singing basis,I think no one except Rohit was/is on par with him......and my guess is that the others in the top 5 will be Smita,Tanmay,Vasundhara and Rohanpreet 😃

oye dhakkan...waapas jaake mera post theek se padho 😉😆😆...My very first statement in the very first post i made in this thread says "..I believe Amir is among the top 3 singers this time"...I never doubted Amir's potential..(my siggy is screaming that amir & rohit are the best.😉)..he deserves to be in top 3 more than any other candicate in the current top 8......But sadly,I still believe that Sonuji is lenient with him on his comments 😉.....mera supari mat nikaalana.......😆

Ok ,here's my opinion.....I believe Amir is among the top 3 singers this time.....yes,his poverty issue(so called) is being hyped...after all he is not poor ....It is just that on a monetary basis he is relatively poorer than the rest.....Amir 's dad may not be present to support him onstage but he at least has a father & mother....so he is very lucky....If u ask me who is the poorest(unluckiest) contestant,I'd say it was Rohit...coz he doesn't have a mother and that loss cann't be filled......his father is(and has been )out of jobs..so i guess he isn't very rich either.....But Rohit never seemed to feel any overwhelming sense of sympathy for himself(whic is very good)....and I don't think Amir wanted to harp on this poverty issue either..I'm sure it is Zee's strategy....I guess Amir is feeling bad abt it but can't do anything..caught in a catch 22. So it is not Amir's fault in any way....and being a good singer he doesn't need sympathy(but wait....... am i being idealistic..after all Rohit is out)

as for judges hyping kids...Sonu goes overboard in his praise of Amir pretty often. .Sureshji is more balanced....though he too has a soft corner for Rohanpreet.....Sonu's mimicry of Smita was(i thought) a li'l harsh...otherwise I don't judges are hyping anyone.Zee hypes Tanmay & vaishali by givng them too much airtime and scope for funny/cute dialogues.

I agree with the original post. They are hyping Amir just like they did to Samir. Amir is better than Sameer but not the best in this lot. In my opinion, he should have gone instead of Rohit.

I think because of Amir, good singers are going to lose.

Are the judges hyping the kids, yes some of the times yes they are the level of hyping in this version of Lil Champs has come down a bit, but they are doing it, but I would give a pass to the judges this time around

But Zee is continuing its usual game of hyping select contestants who will bring in the "chi-ching" of SMS'es you can tell by their concentration on Tanmay, Vasundhara and Amir(Loria was when she was there)

Now Zee and Judges have no reason to hype any contestants, afterall havent they given the responsibility to the public to vote who is the best, so why are they hyping one over the other? If they had any clue who was the best wouldnt they be the one's selecting who is the best 😉

Zee's ways of hyping the kids is definitely WRONG...but there is a reason why some are being hyped more than others.

Lets go through one by one :

Anamika - She is the most unhyped one so far and yet she is the one with more credibility. She has the backing of Assam and the entire NE. That can do wonders at the right time.

Smita : Same for her too.Infact the way she has been saved twice, it seems she is more popular than Anamika in NE or it could be the fear of losing her after Sonu's comments was what made the voters go all out.But the bottomline is she also has a strong vote base from NE, and at the moment that is being shared with Anamika. Bengal ko equation se bahar hi rakhte hain.But it will surely be for either of these two.

Rohanpreet - Whole Punjab will make sure that he gives a tough fight. So there is no shortage there.

Tanmay : The is the heartthrob of most and his performances are always enjoyable.So, he is supported by the aam junta in India and abroad and will have a steady vote base

Vyshali : Many like her some don't. That shows in the votes too.So she needs extra attention to catch the public's attention and get votes.

Vasundhara : She has votes based on both her performance and her handicap.so she does not need much push.But once in a way the viewers need to be reminded so that they don't stop voting.Hence she gets special attention at times.

Vibhore : his cuteness was to win him all the ladies hearts.Which he has, but not enough I guess so he too needs that extra push.

Amir : he was the one most neglected.He has only his singing that is good, but he also is a bit genre specific...He has neither the vote base, or the cuteness, nor any "other" factor to attract the attnetion and this resulted in him getting less votes at times. So he needs to be pushed to the public attention region so that he now gets the sympathy factor backing him.And we saw how disgusting that ended out to be.

Does Zee TV really care who wins in the end? NO. What they are interested is that the shows earns a substantial revenue. now if that can be brought about by getting the unhyped Amir, Vibhore and Vyshali , intot he spotlight which in return will fetch them votes,then for them, so be it. I am sure after Amir, next the story will be on either of these two.Its really sad.😕
