i agree that Loria's dad was just saying what a lot of participants do anyway on any of these reality shows. People vote and vote like crazy because otherwise, their favorite contestant might get out. This is quite common as far as I know

True, his POV is valid BUT one should only do as much as he can and not ruin others lives for it...like the way he troubled his relatives to vote for her day and night... and even if u're doing it... dont make a issue about it!

I've posted the same thing in the other topic(Ron's)...but since I can see a similar discussion going on here,I decided to post my ideas again..bear with me 😉
what Loria's father did maybe wrong and what he said maybe stupid....But how can we be sure now that the rest of the parents did not do this?..He was dumb enuf to announce it on national television...The rest were smarter...Everyone on the show was acting as if Loria's dad was the unethical person here...Can anyone tell me who is the ethical person in that crowd?I failed to see him.
I am sure all the li'l champs have their vote bases set up .So the richest person wins ,gets the car, money & contract and becomes richer..wah wah .....the ethical person will get eliminated first with least votes .As I see it,the moral of the story is 'If u do somethng unethical, don't make it public...use chori chupe karo!! .....Becoz if u announce it it will boomerang & ppl will call u unethical ,even thugh they are(proabably)doing the same thing !!!'.......Zee TV guys are among the major ppl encouraging this stupid public voting system ....so they shldn't lecture to Loria's dad on ethics.
And Sonuji and Sureshji, why this holier than thou attitude?they say that the parent are guiding kids in a wrong way....but when a kid sings well and get eliminated,is that right guidance?what does the kid learn thru that? That the world is an unfair place where talent is of no use? Sonuji walks out of stage claiming that he is hurt by the parents' statement.Maybe most viwers bought it,becoz it was done by Sonuji(who can do no wrong)...But I didn't buy it....It looked staged to me now....Isn't he doing all this for money & popularity ?When an established singer like him resorts to drama & fooling the public,it becomes ethical...but when a layman uses money to make his daughter win(so that she can gain fame) it becomes unethical? I don't think the judges had any right to play moral policeman to anyone since they are also partly responsible for setting the stage for this behaviour.
Lora's dad was certainly unethical and also very stupid, but I dont think anyone there is any better.
......just my personal opinion. 😃...the majority wld probably disagree with this 😉

Where both judges gave A+ both days, Loria deserved it more than anyone. If you deduct that 32000 votes her dad bought by SMS she actually got only 32,000 votes. This is almost half of the 1st and 2nd place holders. How did it happen? An excellant singer got ignored that badly by public. I feel "daal mein kuch kaala hain".

agree with u manikji...I thought Sonuji's first love was music......But suddenly it turned out that his first love was ethics..(which sadly,he doesn't follow himself 😉)......I was more upset that Loria was out(though I am not a gr8 fan of hers)......Her father has not only opened a pandora's boz,he has also shown the reality behind 'reality shows'.....and these ppl were blaming him(shoot the messenger policy 😉)instead of seeing the big picture..well guess Zee TV not only knows the big picture, but also gives it the finishing touches(after all they are the artists here 😉😆😆)

Do you guys think Barbie, Sagar, Sayon, Vaishali and Sahil's parents were just content with giving one vote to their kids.

Come on, we all know how it works. It was just outburst of Loria's dad, very frustrated after seeing his beti did not get all the votes he spend money for, very natural. Do you think Loria being a participant and her dad visiting the set everyday had no idea about the internet voting. I fully think it was Zee's wish to keep the contestants they thought they can bank on(at least looking at the margin of votes).

Yes, he had the right to question where did all those votes go. That too, when Loria was the most deserving candidate. Don't know why Zee tv showed that part to public, may be for TRP or to show how ethical people they are. But it definitely has opened the pandora's box.

Sonu and Sureshji showing some ethics in one of the unethically manipulative reality shows, that's interesting! They themselves keep changing rules every now and then.

Why should sonu be upset? Vaishali is one of the best contestants and she came back; and same goes with the other kid...
Btw when vaishali got eliminated, everyone was pissed and the topics were opened that said "vaisahali paid for loria" as the latter deserved to be eliminated...So looks like fate repeated itself again, only the other way this time..
So chill out y'all and stop bashing Sonu. U r a loria's fan; guess what u r not the only one..but it's not Sonu's fault that she got out...BE A GOOD SPORT!!!

ok, here's my view.

yes, its obvious that in all reality shows, most of the contestant's families vote like crazy. loria's dad did the same thing that everyone does, tried to buy votes for his daughter. this is why i have always been against the public voting method, especially for kids. i get really angry to see these little kids having to say vote appeals etc, what are they teaching them???? 😡

but, if loria's father tried to buy his daughter votes, and it didnt work, then too bad for him. maybe the other kids families spent more money. why did he have to rebel like that? what does he mean by saying "4 computers in jaipur, 2 in udaypur, RS 75,000" or whatever..and then "why didn't you tell me before that only one vote per computer counts?"..as if he would have bought all the computers of the world if they told him. 😕

thats outburst of his was very unnecessary. didnt he think that he was embarassing his daughter on world television? i mean she looses credibility for everything now because people can now assume that her dad tries to buy her everything in life rather than let her earn it. poor girl, i feel very sorry for her. 😔

p.s. i do believe that loria was the most deserving contestant for the wildcard entry and she would have 100% been in again if it wasnt for the corrupted public voting!

If Sonu was so concerned about ethics he should not have agreed to come as Judge on this show. As many said here, the entire world knows how voting takes place on these kinds of reality shows. The friends and families of the contestants vote crazily using whatever means they have. They spend their own money, influence others to spend their money/time to vote for their contestants. This has happened in all the past shows. We know how wild NE states went to vote for Debojeet in C2005. We know what people of Rajasthan did when they needed to get Raja on the top. None of this was "ethical". But with its obscene greed for raking money out of these shows, Zee did not do anything to stop this non-sense. They appealed people to send as many SMSes as they want. And they appealed time and again. And they restricted internet vote to one per computer since it was not making them any richer. Sonu knew this all along so he should have declined to come on the show where "business" always took precedence over talent. Why is he complaining it now. Why is saying "yeh business bana rakha hai kya" when he knew all along that that it is "business" for Zee? If Zee can do anything to rake in mullah, for which he has no objection (after all Zee is paying him), why is he objecting to parents resorting to anything that help get their wards in?
