Alka is loosing to new generation singers now.

I don't think she is losing to new generation or anything..In bollywood, no one replaces anyone but new performers get their own place...the place they really deserve..
Even though, I personally prefer Shreya, but I wouldn't say she is better than Alka or anything like that; Alka has her own position which no one can overtake..

Alka has made a niche for herself. She has made her mark and at such a place you don't get replaced.

Shreya is definitely good. But she is still growing as a singer. I am a die hard Shreya fan but would not hesitate to admit that she still need to sing few other genre songs to show that she can rule Bollywood Music industry. Something that Alka has already proved.
