Well, he said the "off-key" comment a long time ago, before Himesh began to sing. The singer who was winning most of the awards at that time was Udit Narayan, so at the time, it seemed like an attack on him. This wasn't the only case...there were several statements by Sonu in interviews that seemed to have hints of arrogance. Anyway, it doesn't matter to me anymore because he seems to have gotten over that phase.

[sorry to offend anyone; but if Sonu said it; it's a fact]

i don't know if you should trust anyone's word that much. 😆

I still don't believe the authenticity of this incident..btw, when was that...it would sound a lot more sensible if there was some evidence.. 😆

you know I tried to find the article, but I don't think it's available anymore. I'm guessing it was 2001 because that's the year he was really disappointed about not winning the filmfare...I read the interview back then and was shocked, because I was totally in love with him at the time.

Yes I read something along the line but that was in the forum which someone posted. But to me all these does not matter as I look at the present and find him acceptable. Myself being imperfect I cannot pick on anyone.

great point summer ji! I don't understand why reporters and readers find something apparently normal and make it into a huge issue..Being a star doesn't mean he or she can't show his frustration, disappointment, or anger..He or she should get accredited because their lives are in a constant scrutiny; and they still turn out so warm and soothing in public...😊😊

Yes it is very complicated. Reporters always senstionalize and blow up matters that concern celebrities. The common people are very gullible unfortunately.😕

sonu, genuinely is a huge fan of aamir.so his gesture too seemed to be real. It was said he was dying to sing for aamir when he was at the peak of his career where other actors were keen to have sonu as their voice....but sonu was keen only for aamir and had even passed on the message to aamir via his friends.....that is how he got tanhayiaan... 😊

I am surprised that a person like Sonuji has a hard time trying to get hold of Aamir Khan. Probably his secretary basically screens and blocks out almost everybody.
