Sonuji's return is a great plus point. I think he virtually saved the Lil Champs and also brought credibility to SRGMP. We must not forget that he is the best singer in the industry and even HR and others recognise this and use Sonuji as a yardstick to measure others.

Wonder if it was Mr. Gyan the "Brains" who managed to do it.😉

It was a good decision from his behalf also to come back.

I am sure he is having a good time now; relaxing from the pressure of the Bollywood industry plus attending world-tour all the time.

Now he can give some time to his new born child also.

I know! I never liked himesh and I never listen to his interviews, but he was on Koffee with karan once and he said that Sonu Nigam is the biggest singer of India, hands down, and he said that sonu was a better singer than Udit ji, and Abhijeet da...I mean, coming from Himesh, it's a big thing..even if we know he is more of a butterer...lol
But Yeah! u r right; sonu's comeback has added a life to the show..his mimicry is just to die for..and of course the fragments of his eternal songs are always a treat to the ears...😳

I think Sonu is a brilliant singer, but I find him to be totally arrogant and sometimes rude.

Little mistakes do crop up but there are more positives. They are trying their best and this cud be the first time acting as judges. sometime the so called arrogance cud be just play acting as well. But it not as easy job to please all as the show promoters too have an agenda for them to follow and keep up with.

You try to be a judge for one day and see how difficult it is to keep everyone happy still cut out one every week.

I did not see any arrogance in him.

Sonuji went to the stage to hug Aamir Hafeez and he also told Aamir Khan that he was his fan etc and his actions on stage performances indicate his complete participation. He does not just sit on the Judges High Chair and command from there. So statement of Arrogance is rather unfair to him. ( Perhaps in younger days he cud have acted differently but then so does everyone else)

Sonu used to have arrogant tendencies a few years ago...I talked to him on a rediff chat in 2001 and then met him backstage at a concert in 2002, and both times I was disappointed with his attitude. I also read some interviews where he was claiming that he should have won the filmfare a long time ago, and that the filmfare was going to the most off-key singers...As a fan of almost all the male singers currently singing in Bollywood, I found this to be offensive.

Fortunately, he seems to have become more humble since then. Lately, his interviews have almost no bragging or back-biting and I absolutely love his judging on reality shows. He is also an amazing performer and of course, the most versatile singer in Bollywood today. I hope he stays humble, because I respect him a lot more now.

I don't think claiming to be deserving of filmfare is offending to anyone, it's like India's Oscar..every performer dreams to win it..I heard about that incident but that was a response to media question or something, I heard one of his interviews and he was asked something like "his professional regret" and he said "he should have won filmfare for suraj hua madham [or tanhayee]" I don't remember exactly which one was it....but it does happen that off-key singers win awards over deserving singers..e.g. himesh winning over sonu and shaan's songs.that was outrageous...[sorry to offend anyone; but if Sonu said it; it's a fact]
I have always enjoyed his concerts and he is been wonderful back stage and in giving out autographs...so I definitely love him as a person..and a performer..😳
