Sonu can act in some comedy and humour or some serious drama, unless he can project a macho image like SRK who is projected as a rock star, then he can venture in action too. He can sing classical well.

HRs is not an actor except in his music videos which requires limited amount of movements and expressions.His singing is acceptable.

But generally I would prefer singers to specialise in singing and leave acting to the professionals.

Like the same way, Srk can't sing, or Amitabh can not get the best singer's awards, sonu probably can't be the greatest actor either....But he is about to work on another movie "ankhon ankhon main" in which he plays teh role of a blind singer..I m xited abt. that..
HR is an exception; he sucks at both singing and acting..😆

hmmm.. blind singer smells like a flop already before they started shooting for it. Sonu should play a rockstar or a superhero 😉 😃

My point exactly! Actually my problem is that i'm scared. I'm scared that Sonu might ignore his singing completely once he becomes a successful actor. Coz he's somewhat bored with playback singing and is desperate to build an acting career. He had already talked about stopping playback singing and now he has greatly restricted the no of songs. Give him one reason now and he'll say bye bye to music.😕

All this 'aankhon aankhon mein...blind singer' nonsense has made me very nervous. Well, nothing serious...coz it sounds like a flop already...😆

But still i have a request to all those who like Sonu's marvellous singing....... plz make it damn sure that his film is a super flop! if you dont want to loose ur favourite singer......😆😆

Sonu Nigam did a great job as a child actor. He was very natural in his acting. However, he does not have the kind of charisma that a typical romantic hero needs. HE could play a very good supporting role or a serious type of role I think. In any case I agree with all of you that he is a singer par excellence and I hope he continues to do what he does best.

Yes one of h is films is KaamChor, he is the little sonu, nephew of Rakesh Roshan. HE is absolutely brilliant and sooooooo cute!

Yes he has acted in the following films:
Kaamchor,
Ustaadi Ustaad Ke,
Betaab,
Hum se hai zamana,
Taqdeer

There may be more but I do not know abt those.

Yes absolutely true!! May be his films were destined to flop by God so we don't loose a singer like him. But how can he satisfy his acting desires is the million dollar question. 😉
