And all the top heroes today aren't excellent actors either barring a very few.
Sonu partially blames the debacle of his movies on marketing also
I agree with u totally on this.I have not seen any of Sonu's movies and cannot comment on his acting/screen presence. But many of today's so called stars/actors can hardly act....Barring a few like Amir khan or others like SRK(he at least has screen presence),we have a whole bunch of ppl who have forayed into movies with zero acting skills and no screen presence. How then,r they successful....If ppl like HR,Ranbir kapoor ,Emraan Hasmi,Bobby deol etc can become heroes then well,Sonu is as good/bad.
I agree that the marketing is very important ..the songs shld be of mediocre tune & made popular by continuous blasting on channels .Movies & songs grow on ppl...Also presntation of the hero is very important..(.As in HR's case)...and lastly of course, nobody can replace a good script and a big banner. With these ingredients and multiple chances (as in the case of Abhishek,Bobby deol,Ajay Devgun etc),anyone can become a hero
Having said that I hope Sonu sticks to singing coz we can have a 100 actors, but we have very few(probably none ) singers like Sonu Nigam. His foray into movies will be an irreplaceable loss to music.

Can't agree with you more on the last sentence, it is impossible to find another Sonu. But I think that will be one thing that is going to bother him for rest of his life.
Also I don't understand what screen presence HR has. He does not even look at the camera while giving interviews 😆. No connection with the audience at all and if he passes any vibes at all they are all negative. 😕 God knows how he became an actor and that too his first movie being a super hit. How can "Maa Ki Ashirwad" and "Destiny" only favor him and not anyone else. 😕. God is very unfair and biased. 😳

I agree that Himesh's screen presence can hardly be called appealing. I haven't seen AKS, but from what I heard it was horrible film. So I'm guessing that people only went to see it because they were curious. His music and singing (God knows why the singing) are popular and he has a lot of fans, so it's understandable. I doubt that he'll be able to repeat that success.
