I think I should have been more explicit. The surprise is not that I posted the songs. It is in the songs themselves. Guess who the singers are in those 3 songs. I thought some of the regular followers of this contest would have guessed by now. Oh well. It is my bedtime now. Tomorrow morning, if nobody has guessed, I will reveal the surprise myself.

Oh wooow..... thts great👏👏👏 your musical sessions must be a treat for you all...... i wish i had been a part as a listener in the group😆..... we wish to hear more recordings from your musical sessions in future for sure Ashishji😃

OK, now that all of you know that Aparna, Seema and I know each other, let me just say something about my winning the contest. I truly believe that Aparna is the best singer in the contest. Even in our various music sessions, her sur is so pakka and so clear. Seema can also vouch for that. I am not pretending to be humble but mera tukka lag gaya final round mein. I might have won the final round but Aparna deserves the title of best singer. She has also been very patient in listening to my songs and giving me feedback, more so than the other way round. Even in the final round, she was the one who told me not to go with 'Jyoti Kalash' but choose some other song. So, a very big thanks to Aparna who is a better singer than me.

This contest has really been a lot of fun for me (not so much fun for bhabhiji and my son :-)). As I have mentioned before, it made me try out genres which I would have otherwise shied away from. As Bhaskar mentioned, in the later rounds, Barnali ji was the one who was giving me feedback for my submissions and she was a great help. Thanks again Barnali ji for that and for being the guiding force behind the contest.

Finally, I want to say that all the mentors maintained a lot of decorum throughout the contest. There were no ugly brawls or mud slinging. All the mentors were for the most part, very fair. Kudos to all the mentors.

Hey you did not hurt anyone. But I was really surprised that how come you have Seemadi and Aparnaji both in the recordings.😆 One option came was maybe you made them all record then used editing technology to get it done.

Ashishda,remember in my last feedback i had mentioned about your voices being unique.We are so well tuned with each of your voices now, that we can easily make out. By the way, is that "friend" of yours who offered to teach you classical music, one of these two? 😛

Adi, the friend who has offered to teach me classical music is the other singer in our group, the one who had made it to the semis of International SRGMP. I wish you could listen to him singing Mehdi Hassan or Ghulam Ali ghazals or some classical bandish. That guy is dynamite in that genre of songs. And in one of our sessions, he and Aparna had sung 'Kuhu Kuhu' together. I don't know if Aparna has that recorded.

The minute I saw Ashishda's post, I knew this would happen...😆 Thakur Saab, if only you knew the secret before, then Seema ji ko dhoondna aur bhi asaan ho jaata , hain na?😆😆 joking.

Even I thought that it was recorded separately then remixed somehow.But how exactly, have no clue...but this surely helps.

In thsi series we really heard some great talents and please all of you talented winners, don't let such good talent go waste, cherish it, take care of it and spread the music around.
