Sonu himself agrees that he is not a classical singer and belongs to bollywood mainstream.. There are so many singers who do not have a classical background.. But they sing in bollywood.. There are many singers who have the nasal twang.. Mukesh, Udit Narayan, Mika are perfect examples.. But their voice itself sounds nasal.. They never bring a false nasal effect.. Its only Himesh who brings falsetto.. He never said "Only classical singers are singers".. If he makes this statement, then he should consider himself as non-singer according to his view points 😆

People can say he sings nasal, but noone can take credit from HR for being original and not inspired singer.... whereas all singers including lataji are inspired singers some or the other time as sonu confessed in one interview....

Ya, very original 😆 Esp his performance in grand finale.. Kitne hain armann mann mann.. commendable If this is called singing, then I am so worried about the future of Indian Music 😊

A singer need not know classical singing to be a singer IMO.... and sonu is a league in himself and he should stay away from taking potshots and concentrate on his sork instead... IMO 😊

Its just a joke.. not potshot.. Himesh enjoys too.. Why does he need to care when he thinks he has some dedicated fan following 😉

as anand ji said, sonu is so humble; he never gets any admiration and applaud to get in his head and usually laughs it out lightly. Sonu is such a ROCKSTAR...😳

Sonu is my favourite singer and performer at this stage.... i never miss his concerts.... I dont like himesh songs.... but I would not say that himesh is not a singer.... of course he doesnt make songs of my liking but saying that he is not a singer is exagerrated statement.....

and I think being humble, he shall leave the work of taking potshots to likes of abhijeet and aadesh.... 😊

potshots! that's himesh's job because he was the one who started the whole sonu-himesh controversy by claiming he is better than sonu or something (in his dreams can he be only better than sonu). It was everywhere in the press and now he says he never said that..so maybe the media and newspapers dreamed of this idea...???

I did not miss any point😕..... I dont also have any philosophy on original and inspired singer😕.... neither i made any theory.... i took some portion from sonu's interview, which you might not have read😕.....

I did not say I respect himesh.... if he takes potshots its expected from him.... however I respect Sonu as an artist and i believe he is best and shall stay away from taking potshots.....

I just kept my opinion..... now even that is banned kya?😕

Sorry for butting in, but what are you talking about here? I'm not even going to comment on the validity (or lack of it) of your argument, but do you realize that you are contradicting yourself? You say that inspiration comes from originality (huh?), and then you say that in the world of multiplicity, originality wouldn't exist. But if originality doesn't exist, that would mean there's no scope for any inspiration to occur, which would mean all those people who say they've been inspired, are actually original. Which would again violate your statement that originality wouldn't exist.

It's all nice to use big words from Philosophy 101, but you have to back them up with logic.
