Its all Sunidhi's age!! What Ashaji is talking, happens with many singers.. Their voice goes through lot of digitization!! The age of live music is gone and technical improvements have taken the front seat!!
Like SPB said in one interview - even duet songs are recorded in solo and then mixed.. They dont even know who is the other singer and only when the song is released they get to know!! This is the truth and happens with everyone..Yeh Kalyug hain.. Ghor Kalyug.. So, its better she retires or try reviving the old songs!!
Yeh baat sahi hai ki ghor kalyug hai.....But i don't agree with the justification of the same thing happening to many singers.No singer shld be given this sort of treatment.Sunidhi,shreya etc might have been meted out this sort of treatment in their early days,but I doubt someone wld dub their own voice on Sunidhi/shreya's voice today..and if they did,i'm pretty sure these young and modern singers of today wld give them a piece of their mind......It may be ok to make additions,but deletions(I presume that is wht has happened here).....deleting the singer's voice is ridiculous.
Duet songs may be recorded in solo,but making a solo song a duet is aother thing altogether.😊
