I would like to add one more point to the answers given to you.

If you are a music teacher then you must know more about music then all of us, so you should know the difference between two judges, Sonu is a good speaker, he himself looks at Sureshji with lots of respect and takes his suggestions seriously.

That shows Sonu's humility and respect for senior musicians. While Mr. Wadkar is a seasoned musician, I just feel that his comments do come across as rude since it is being said to the kids.
Yes, this is a reality show but that does not mean that a decorum can't be followed. I never said that they should all say "wah wahs" all the time. But instead of saying "bahut kharab" laga, one can say "sur kum laga" or "voice unsteady laga". I am not saying that Mr. Wadkar is rude all the time, but he has done it a couple of times.
As for calling Sonu "Guru SOnu", I was saying it in a lighter vein because I think he a a guru when it comes to presenting himself in public.
At this point let us agree to disagree, I don't want to drag this any further.

get your facts right..... he never said bahot kharab gaya..... his feedback was to the point where each contestant needed to improve or to check on the overconfidence of some contestants....

Being a guru does nt mean your pratices to teach students is right and others is wrong..... every teacher has different techniques to teach and truth is that Suresh ji has given some good singers to indstry by his teaching😃

another point is that if choosing the best is eventually going be left in the hands of the audience then these comments become very critical ... a lot of ppl among the audience do depend on the judges' comments ... so they cant always be saying only good things ... and the comments they give must be clear and distinguishable from participant to participant ... they cant say to everyone who is slightly off-sur 'sur thoda kam laga' ... then whats the diff between them especially if one is chosen and the other rejected ...

then there is the point of parents arguing with the judges saying 'achche comments diye phir bhi final mein nahi liya' ... mind u this happens on camera and not in the background ... if this is going to happen then its better that u speak the plain truth rather than giving 'achche' comments ... just my POV 😊

I found Suresh Wadkar not at all rude , he is simply pointing out where the contestants need to concentrate and where they could have sounded better.

I do have one complaint though , he should have elaborated with example when he said to one contestant whose last name i Naik (forgot the first name) "Tumhara ye sur lagane ka tareeka galat hai" which even her mother wanted to know when she was not selected. I was not convinced about his comment either.
