Raja Hasan was being touted as the favourite to win Sa Re Ga Ma so it shocked many when Aneek piped him to the post. But Raja prefers to look at the brighter side of things and says that he is happy to be the junta's Raja Hindustani.
"More that being disappointed, I was sad after seeing the reaction of my parents who had lot of hopes from me. However, my mood changed after watching the delight on the faces of Aneek and Amanat's parents."

Looking back at the Sa Re journey, he says, "All three of us worked equally hard. Though I didn't win, I derive a lot of pleasure from the fact I got the highest number of votes from India."
Raja admits that the road ahead is tough. "You can never replace Taj Mahal. Like it even our top playback signers are the best so I have a long way to go."
So what next for him? "I just have to keep on singing which is my passion and now the judges have become like a family to me. So far, I've sung for Bappi da's film, my mentors Vishal-Shekhar have always treated me like a brother. Since they've bestowed this honour upon me, it's my duty to make sure that one day I'll sing for them."
Always the crowd favourite, Raja ends by saying, "I will work hard for my fans."
