5. Do not permit multiple voting. Limit it to one vote per phone number. Prevents multiple votings. Imagine a rich family voting alot more simply cause they can afford it.

6. For getting the top 7(or 10) contestants, only judges should evaluate. Public voting should be brought in only after top 7(or 10). After that, Judges marks should carry equal weightage as the public votes.

7. The background of the contestants should not be revealed at all(like their financial conditions, region from where they come etc.) Contestants should be known only by their first names.

One thing they should introduce that they should also give some prize money or contract amount.

I have problem with item 5. You can not limit SMS one per telephone. If you have family member 4 and all wants to vote, I this situation 3 people can not vote. In India most rural areas people do not have phone in every household. They usually vote from public both. You are limiting them also.

So item 5 is not feasible.

You do got a valid point...but then all those people with money could easily vote a numerous amount of times. If you think about it, there were probably some large bets going on during Challenge 2007. Some rich person could easily vote for a contestant numerous times or rig a voting booth to only vote for the contestant he wants.

Maybe we can improvise, how about there are certain hours when voting booths are open? And that voting results are posted online, and constantly update every 5 mins or so to see who is in first place.

Should we replace #5 with something like that?

About #10, isn't that already happening now. Wasn't Poonam given an award for being the female champ? Unless you want it to go even farther where their are two separate contests going on in Challenge 2008, one between the girls and one between the guys.
