Dear all,

I have been thinking about this for few days considering the craziness for voting and the influence of the drama on voting. Since this channels have a revenue sharing agreement with the telephone companies for all kinds of reality shows, they have a "CONFLICT OF INTEREST" to dramatise the event and gain the votes from the viewers.

1. As per one of the interviews of vishal, when Ashaji and Himesh drama happened, everyone was laughing but it was shown as if there is lot of tension. (Dramatising by editing)

2. As per Barnaliji's talk with Poonam, She had requested to not to publicise the report about the girl she adopted (Dramatising by sympathy)

3. Declaration of zones, arranging big gatherings and welcome as if a minister has come when the contestants visit their home (Dramatising the popularity)

4. Royal cub of bengal, Raja Hindusthani, Pakistan ke mahabali (Dramatising by regional influence)

There are so many ways of dramatising that this people have used to influence the votes from public. They dont care who gets the votes, what they care about is the number of votes and they will use any pawn to get more votes. Its clearly result of this "CONFLICT OF INTEREST" created by the revenue sharing agreement with telephone companies.

Since the channel makes the profits out of advertisement revenue, sponsorship revenue, sell of albums etc. I believe that public can file a writ petition for ban on such revenue sharing agreements by reasoning of "CONFLICT OF INTEREST".

A writ petition can be filed to rule all such revenue sharing agreements between channels and telephone companies as void. So the base reason of dramatisation will be out😊

What are your views regarding this?

How about all contestants singing behind a "Purdah" so that the judgement is not biased? 😆

But I do agree that some conflict of interest issues like Opponent Mentors not making comments or judging a competitor should be implemented, or at least in the final stages. Alternative is to do away with Gharanas. But if we keep cutting out too many things then it could be boring too. So has to be done selectively.

Public voting etc is actually a lot of rubbish too as it is never fair. Amanat was its victim. 😆

I am not talking of conflict of interest on behaviours.....

I am talking of conflict of interest caused by the revenue sharing agreement with telephone companies. This agreement creates interest to dramatise a reality show to gain more votes😊

Talking of phone companies they closed my internet voting so early I had to pay a lot money to get my votes through. Luckily my candidate won. Even if he lost it would not matter to me, but we just want to do the best for our selection. I am sure Zee has some sort of Revenue sharing Agreement with the phone companies.

Very well said Abhi.....they need to stop this dramatisation in these reality shows. But i was happy (not 100% contented) by the show this time round. This dramatisation was less as compared to C-2005.

my contention is that a public writ petition shall be filed to make the revenue sharing agreements with telephone companies void....

this way the interest in dramatisation for gaining more votes will no longer be there😊

Yeah this time drama was very contained, and drama is part of reality shows these days... fortunately this show concentrated on singing primarily... That does not matter if they say Aneek belong to Kolkata or Raja to Rajasthan or Amanat to Pakistan, people will definitely know about from where they belong....
They did not bring show the vote based on region.
No fighting among mentors.
No walk-out by contestants.
No humiliation of people of any region.
No questioning by mentors of music knowledge of other menotrs.

These are some positive things...

I am not talking of the SRGMP only jadoo bhai.... i am talking of all the reality shows musical or non musical and conflict of interest created by the revenue sharing agreement with telephone companies....

my question is not if the show was dramatised or not....

my question is whether a writ petition shall be filed in court of law to rule all the agreements between channels and telephone companies void on the basis of conflict of interest?

Abhi the simple solution to stop this unfair regional voting is to make a fixed rule of number of votes from the phones.

See u cannot stop this regioanl propeganda. The people from the contestants home town itself would come out in the open and advertise. They need to stop this infinite number of votes from a single phone line....and as far as internet voting goes - if taken then again go for a fixed number per IP. They did this in NB last yr and that gave very fair results every week.

Barnalidi dramatisation is not only regionalisation.... its also use of sympathy card and many more things.... like all pakistani contestants coming in bottom three etc.... and its not about only SRGMP its about all reality shows....

Its about the interest to influence the voting that is generated out of this agreement and hence whether this agreements shall be nullified?

I wish, they do away with the voting system altogether.Instead,we have either singers or music related pple as judges.
