Debojit to host new show for ZEE TV

With 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa - Challenge 2007' coming to an end this weekend, the channel is making sure its winner from 2005, Debojit, is not forgotten.

Debojit's claim to fame has been his singing. The channel has decided to capitalise on that in a music-based show called 'Rock the Dhun'. Reportedly, the show bears a strange similarity with 'Harmony' (on Sony Entertainment Television Asia) which has recently gone off air.

Some prominent singers will appear as guests on the show. They will sing both old and new songs, with a live orchestra playing. Debojit told Mumbai Mirror , "I'm really excited about my new show. I'm happy that they chose me to host it. Alongside hosting, I will also sing on the show with the guests."

Like all other reality show winners, Debojit has been busy with stage shows. "I have been travelling and busy doing shows in different parts of the country. I have, so far, shot only two days for the show. Shooting for the second schedual is set, for this month end," he adds.
