Alot of the Music in indian films nowadays is being lifted i.e. sampled from US,European tracks. In particular, the newly popular filmi dance songs /remixes are nothing more then remixed to house beats/reggaeton beats with hindi lyrics.

I love the songs and all, but the level of creativity is lessened whey music producers rely on computer programs to generate beats vs. originial composers.

Who knows if VS payed royalties or not to use that part? Even if what the article alleges is true, VS are still more original than the Pritams, Anu Maliks, Sajid Wajids, etc. of the music composers. But being Mid-Day and how inaccurate they have been in the past, I am pretty sure they are digging for gossip when it is not even there.

Yep,Black Eyed Peas lifted the beginning tune of Dont Phunk with my Heart from Yeh Mera Dil....And the beginning of the title track of Cash is uncannily similar to "Pump It"....What astounds me the most is Vishal's chutzpah...He directly lifts a tune, and then claims they are completely original😕
