No I disagree he really put his soul in the song each time I hear his song "tujhsai naraaz nahin" I get tears in my eyes" he really deserve to be hyped that was about time. I agree the song is great was it same when Mikka sang? it really depends on how singer deliver the song? He sang Lata's version of song thats why they put her name in there. I have heard both songs.

tujhse naraj nahi -- original song cerdit,

The answer to this post is simple, So many may have atempted this song again and again since its was orignally sang. But to my recent memory no one could induce the spirit of sadness and the demand of the song like Aamant. So full credit to Amanat's ability for singing like he sang the other day.

How can you say that without listening to them singing it? Lets give him the credit what he has done.

Its true the song is mesmerising. Even if Poonam had sung the song, it would have brought tears to everyone. I think people just went a little over board praising Amanat. No doubt he sang it very well, but even Aneek or Poonam or even Sumedha would have had the same effect.

This song has both male and female versions in the film with male version sung by famous Bengali singer Dr. Anup Ghosal.

The first antara (stanza) of the song sung by Lata and Anup Ghosal is same (jeene ke liye socha hi nahi, dard sambhalane hoge) which Amanat sang. Since Amanat was singing the song, the male singer's name instead of female singer's should have been shown. Don't you feel so? I think many people do not know that Anup Ghosal sung the male version of the song and he sung it equally well. His name should have rightfully appeared in credits.

first time i know who sang and who wrote and who give music of this song very nice and touchy song and i thankful to Amanat who provise all notices and belive me first time i feel this song god bless amanat.

I haven't heard the original composition, and I still cried. We shouldn't disregard Amanat's talent and say that he wasn't worthy of the praise he got. Of course he was! There is magic in his voice, it comes straight from the soul. I doubt that if anyone else sang it, it would generate the same effect within the audience. Lyrics and composition aside, Amanat was the true master of this performance, and in my opinion, was worthy of a lot MORE praise than he got.
