Yeah he was great!
But honestly, although I like Aneek, I felt Amanat's 'Tujhse Naraaz...' beat Aneek's performances hollow. But I agree that Aneek WAS brilliant. Only, Amanat was better on Saturday 3rd round.

Thanks for the songs. I heard the song so many times. He is such a brilliant singer, I am just amazed at the way he sings. I never see him struggling with a song. It is true that Amanat did sing beautifully yesterday. You have to remember that the song he sang not hard to sing (no offense, please amanat's fans!). Sameer from Little Champs, Puja from Indian idol also sang the song beautifully. ID was smart enough to know which song to pick for his desciple. I am not saying by any standard that Amanat is not a good singer but I think the guru's need winning strategies to apply for a competition like this. I am sure Amanat's song did appeal to many people and perhaps they will vote for him now because of the way he sang. I hope that on the 13th Aneek will choose his songs very carefully. Thanks again.

I know you said that you didn't mean any offense to Amanat, but I can't help but take offense. You're saying that Amanat's song was EASIER than Aneek's? You're kidding, right? HR has ALWAYS picked the easiest and the most popular songs for Aneek to get him votes. I'm not saying Aneek isn't a good singer, but throughout the show his songs have always been ones to get the crowd moving, and while doing that everyone forgets to actually focus on the singing itself. On the other hand, ID has been very stupid in picking harder songs for Amanat. He picks slow, tough songs, and the everyday common people don't vote for him, because they don't possess the musical knowledge needed to appreciate his music. I don't think that anyone should be able to point fingers at Amanat after yesterday's performance.

Woh Ajnabee, read what I wrote real carefully. I never said every song that Amanat sang was easier than Aneek's. The last three songs Aneek had sung, just listen to them and you will know what I am talking about.I don't think the murkia he took so easily was that easy.I don't know how much knowledge you have in music but in my opinion his songs weren't that easy to sing always. In my opinion Amanat is a fabulous singer and if he wins I will be happy for him. As far as Aneek is concerned his voice quality, his delivering almost each and every song was in my opinion is superb. Again it's my opinion only. Take it easy.
