music is not science ...it is subjective!!!...some may find a song very good and some may not.....

can you decide who is better ghazal singer JagJit Singh or Ghulam Ali...

Opinions will differ...and hence the voting to take the opinion of majority ....

I didn't force my opinion on anyone ....I hv no problem with your liking Amanat more ..I am not asking you to change your opinion either .. I just stated whom I like more...!!

Erm, I think in your haste to reply, you probably did not take time to get the gist of my post?? I said exactly the same thing - it is subjective or else...(read above). However, when one is criticising, one needs to be objective and precise in pointing out flaws. Judging a singing competition is quite close to marking a literary piece. I can say it was engrossing, imaginative, heart-rending, but when it comes to finding flaws, I will have to be precise. I can't give the essay 6/10 and say I didn't like it hence you get 60%.

First of all who write this post don't know about music some where she compare music with cricket show immaturity for music, Dia give own opinion, you don't want don't give vote to deserving candidate create some more hopeless sandeep, qazi and deebo but I feel writer is so frustrated because Amanat steel the show and every one dieing for Amanat, unable to found other's two believe me after DIA request I send 100 sms same time I know Amanat may be not 1 in voting competition but as singer he ruined every one "NA AANK BACHI NA RAIT".

I love music after my parents nothing else important for me, I personally praying with my parents for Amanat and one day will come every where only his name shine.

God bless to narrow minded persons and give some guide line to live as good human being.

sorry for the confusion there ..I misread your post!

There were factors why I didn't like it ..I find power and punch missing from his singing when he sings fast numbers - pretty woman and sukhwinders song....

saanwariya song has already been discussed a lot...

He was very good in 'Tuzhse Naraz nahin"

No sweat! However, this post was started against Dia's response to Tujhse Naraaz Nahin, and that's what I have been discussing. I wasn't even thinking of other performances (which needless to say, I enjoyed to the hilt 😛).
